I have both CP barrels and the kit. The kit is actually a Warped Sports kit made by CP and it is VERY light. The tips are CP tips and the backs are Warped sports aluminum. They are so light they make the ULE mag even more ULEer :) I like the CP barrels as well too, very light also. Stick with em. Also, if you call them the prices on the web are not the real ones. They will give you better deals on the phone.

I've been using a Scepter for some time now and absolutely love it. With an aluminum back its not heavy at all and they shoot extremely well.

Don't let that sway you. Powerlyte is just as light with alluminum back. Ya know....PowerLYTE ;)

although Cp is a local company for me... I prefer the Powerlyte 5 incert kit that I bought at IAO.

Ditto. I prefer the Powerlyte barrels- Speedline or Scepter to just about any barrel on the market today.

My Scepter is the hands down best barrel I have ever shot

I own BOTH the Powerlyte barrel kit and the CP barrel kit.

Dollar for dollar, the CP is the better barrel.
It's roughly half the price of the powerlyte, and 90% as good.

But if money is no object, get the Powerlyte. It's marginally better.

Being marginally better is sometime the difference between hitting them in the face or bouncing one off the arm. I'd go Powerlyte.

I would definitely go with the scepter kit. I have one and i love the way it shoots through breaks, Just like it was clean after 10 shots.

Everyone seems to be saying that the sceptors are really good, but what about powerlyte's Speedline series? are those just as good?
