Well lately reading tournament coverage and just browsing pictures I had seen pictures of players wearing bandanas around their neck. Joy division players, Kapp, there was another major team cant remember and some lower level teams wearing them. Personally I think it just looks stupid. Anyone wanna enlighten to why or just post an opinion.

Peace
Thomas

I don't think you will ever see me wearing a bandana around my neck. Unless its a necklace one (where you cut off a small strip and twist it a bunch, then tie it around your neck)

kind of makes sense, the bandana would make a cushion for the ball pretty much, and since your chest is harder right there it has a better chance of bouncing, just guessing though

You'll see lots of guys wearing We Kill Suckers bandanas at tournaments, too. I'm just not a bandana-wearing kinda girl.

Here's Gerald of the Oakland Assassins modeling one for you all

I wear a bandanna on my head but that was before all the doo-rags and headwear now. I usually wear a black bandanna, nice and plain! Just the way I like it

I've still got my realtree camo bandanas from when they were fashionable for woodland in the early 90s......I knew if I hung onto them they'd come back into style again ;)

You know what they say:
"Yep, what goes around comes around. "

Still have my old woodland bandanas from "back in the day" too.
Nobody likes to get drilled in the scalp, then or now.

Yes. They are being seen more. I also sell a Ban-Du which is quite popular too. I don’t think I will sell bandanas for around the neck though since you can get those at any 5nDime.

Some of the guys I play with have been wearing bandanas around the neck for as long as I've been playing. They do it for neck protection. The pictures you're showing, they're pretty clearly too low slung to do any good in that regard. Looks like another example of fiddling with legitimate gear to serve as a cheating mechanism.

AGD should sponsor a pro team.

Like Burphel's pals, I usually wear one around the neck for protection, not like the guy in the pic. It's usually an old OD one I used to wear on my head 7-8 years ago.
