Thats a tough one.
An E frame comes to mind , but that is nearly as much money if not more than the X valve on the "trade in".
You might could find someone who would be willing to trade your Classic valve and some cash for a Retro.

Hey, if there was a way I would be all over it. If you find one, let me know;)

Either Y or Intelli is going to increase your ROF. Having two fingers to offset the amount of pressure to articulate the sear naturally results in a quicker pull.

Can you ULT a stock frame?

The question is "can you ULT a classic?"

The answer is yes you can,but it's not reccomended by AGD.I've put 'em in a classic before but's a not an ideal setup.Very little return on the trigger return, you really have to pull clean and there may be an issue of drop off at higher ROF.

It does work but try it at your own risk.

Jay.

Buy a brand new RT pro its easier that way. And you get everything for $475. Then you can sell your old mag and get Mc Donalds. It's what I am planning.

I'm assuming you already have lvl 10, but if you don't thats a must if you even plan on getting any ROF out of a classic valve. I'd say get an inteliframe or y-grip for now and just play with it. Don't jump right in to the ULT right away, you'll be surprised at how fast you can really shoot a classic valve with an inteliframe and lvl 10 with enough practice on the trigger.

I suggest going to our classified forum and looking for a used Retro/E-Mag/RT-Pro valve. Just as fast as an X-valve but a little heavier and without L10. You should be able to get one for no more than $150. Perhaps a little more if it's got the L10 installed.

Get a galactic Z on/off valve, it works on the same principals as the ULT but not to the point where it will make it way too easy to short stroke, plus it will only set you back about 30 bucks. I've used one on my micromag when i played for blackcell for every tourny and practice and it really works. You can tell a huge difference in the stiffness of the pull of a normal mag compared to a galactic z valved one. Plus, it puts a little bit of reactivity onto the trigger. They're the best little upgrade that no one knows about.

How about, you do one better than the galatic systems on/off. Buy the REAL thing. It's called the RT on/off assembly.

As for people quoting rof's in this thread. it's a mechanical gun. you really don't know how fast you can go. I know people who can't pull 5bps on my cocker. I'll pull 12ish. Put me on an angel and I'll pull 9. (yes, that IS slower than my cocker) But I think you get the idea.

i was in the same situation as u a month ago, what u need to have a kicka** gun is a
i-frame new: $110 chrome used: $70-$90
level 10 new: $60 used: i dont sugest it but like $45-$50
RT used trade for $90
Halo TSA $60
this is what i did to my gun and i was playing with some friends and a kid who had a 2003 shocker said he would like to have a gun like mine for a back up cuz it kickeda** i can rip at the very least 13 bps but that is only cuz the halo TSA cant feed any faster. so if u dont have any of these up grades already that will cost u a grand totally of $320 new and $265 used
EXTRA: ULT for 40 but you got to get the old guns drilled out
