"The VL Envy. The fastest loader in the world, with the fastest reloading mechanism around is capable of spitting out 27 balls per second."

Ill believe that whne I see it:rolleyes:

Looks like a cross between the Q-loader , revy, and an Evo II!

Fast though! 27bps and reloadable clips/pods!

Very interesting!

who the hell can pull the trigger 27 bps?

Jeez that thing is ugly!
Give me a break, 27bps? Anything over 18 is a waste.

i'm speechless,
disgusting, waste of money, and it's BE how strong do you think that is, how long will it last.

Doesn't look too bad. Would look good on top of a DM4. I don't know about having to use their pods though. That would kinda suck.

They are just trying to compete with the q-loader which I think is ugly too and is so fast it is pointless 15-20bps is fast enough.

The idea is solid...kind of like the speedloader that JT came out with. I'm sure it will feed around 22-23, not what is advertised. The only complaint I have, besides the fact that it is ugly, is that the pod while inserted gives a big profile. Imagine having a 140 rnd. pod on the top of your gun (angeled or not angeled). Other than that, I think the idea is good (although it really doesn't take that long to reload normally). Just my thoughts.

I like it a lot, you would be able to reload so much faster, I think we just got to give the design some time before people will accept it. I also really like the idea of the interchangable revvy shells, I would buy a 140 in a second.

I can't believe everyone is knocking this thing without atleast trying it first. I bet if it had an AGD sticker on it yall would be putting in your pre-orders. Anyways I think it is refreshing to see something out of the norm as far as hopper goes. There really hasn't been alot of inovation lately. I knew it was only a matter of time until a system such as this one was created. My only beef is that it looks a little tall. The reloading system would certinally help on the field, lets just hope they don't cost as much as those Q loader pods!

It looks ok. Don't really like the pointy front. If they are directly competing with the HALO's though they need to make it the same price or cheaper. Pods need to be dirt cheap or included. The article made it sound like it would be $100+.

The profile might not be that bad. It's hard to tell from the pics but it looks like it may be thinner than a HALO but taller.

I think that its a pretty neat idea , to have your pod just slap in and you are loaded.
I can see problems arising from dirt getting in the hopper after a few games from throwing the empty pods to the ground.
It is kinda spacy looking , but something that could be gotten used to.What I wonder is if they reinforced the feed neck itself. It would be shame to see this get that nasty reputation for snapping off in your marker....

sure, it looks stupid, but the loading system is a good idea i think. I dunno about 27 bps though....

I think the idea is good, but design wise it could of been remodeled to possible look better. Who knows that could be a proto-type and the final design may look better, has it been released yet? I didnt read through the whole article.

companies need to get that looks play a MAJOR roll in a product. if it looks like absolute doo doo then people obviously arent going to buy it

you know what though?

when all the VL pro teams use it (most pro teams are VL) and when all the APGs have 500 ads for it with the pro players saying it is the best, it will sell more units in 6 months than HALOs have since they were started.

and besides, what do people ***** about now? reloading. it takes too long, its too hard to reload. Even Tom awknowledges this fact.

Zumina

Meh, I'd use it if it feeds as fast as they say it does and is easier to reload.

All they need to fix that product is get a pro team to use it. Instant fix.

i think this is very interesting, i think it will work well and it will sell well. Im wondering if this carries over at all about the be and K2 merger. hmmm

also, paintballgear.com already has em listed for sale

they are quoted at $112

Chojin Man

I didn't know BE and K2 merged?? That's crazy. Pretty soon BE will try to merge with Time Warner. Then you will see stuff like AOL disks being included with Talons.

AcemanPB
01-11-2004, 12:19 PM
If BE wanted to I'm sure they could make a reall kick-butt marker. They probably have more money to burn in R&D than all the other paintball companies combined. Then again they are already probably the most profitable paintball company so why change?

Hmmmm,
I look at that and think DM4 right away. They both have that Buck Rogers look to them.
