any paintball gun oil seems to work fine for me.
as long as it's not smelly.

Gold cup is what I have around. I think the other big one is Kermode Concepts paintball oil.

PBgear has 5 or so ounces of pb oil on their site for cheap, dont remember the exact price but it was much cheaper than standard 1oz oil-5 bucks maby? (order it with other stuff to avoid shipping charges :)

I just picked up some KC trouble free after using gold cup for ages. You can feel the difference in lubricity with your fingers.. and it doesn't smell either :D

The gold cup is good, but KC trouble free is better.

KC is the best for most of the gun but the reg piston needs a different lube. I think that Tom said packing grease. But, I could be wrong on that. I'll have to watch my 'Mag video again!
EDIT: Yep Wheel bearing grease

I use household 3 in 1 and it works fine for me.

Is the 3 in 1 your referring to in a red and white can w/ the red little applicator on top? If so I was told years ago never to use that on my old mag after I bought all new urethane orings due to swelling caused by that oil.

WD40 will eat your orings, so no.
