Plastic Nubbins?

I've never heard anything about plastic nubbins.... not to say that they arent coming out though...

Tom mentioned in a post a couple of weeks ago that they were going to come out with new plastic nubbins, which are not prone to breakage. They are presently trying different plastics to see which works better.
