I believe the detents are the standard spyder/timmy style and are cheap, readily available, and durable.

I just got one, installed it, and it moves around quite a bit. This bothers me a lot. Do they all move around? I have not shot any paint through it yet because I didn`t feel like cleaning up the mess if it started breaking paint! Good old Doc didn`t return my emails regarding the loosness of the adapter.

sadly doc rarely responds to his emails ... but mine doesn't move around at all!

the adapter is in there quite snuggly and the barrel screws in (with a barrel oring) and doesn't move ... gonna test out my new freak tommorrow...

I would call Doc to ask him about the adapter being loose man ... might be slightly off in the specs..

The barrel oring is the key. I've got one of these and mine did move around a bit when I first started using it. I discovered, however, that using an oring on the barrel, the movement of the whole thing was eliminated.

Good luck!
