Join The Anti-Pants Party!

You heard right. Do you not like wearing pants? Do you prefer the great feeling of wearing shorts year round? Well we are here for you! We are a political party that believes an individuals rights to wear shorts when they want to and how they want to! This is no mear Pie Revolution or Unter Mag Revoultion. This a way of life, we are on schedule to run for the Presidency in 2028.
Anti-Pants Decree:
I will not wear pants, only shorts, unless required to for eductational or vocational purposes.

The decree is to be upheld always and is open to addtions with a passing of the senate of shortwearers* (name change in process), which will consist of 7 individuals approved by myself and the vice-president. To pass an addtion it will need 4 passing votes from this senate and to be approved by myself and the vp. However if I veto it, it can be overturned by the senate with a complete majority of 7 votes.

Also, the structure of our party can be re-arranged if needed, this will be decided later based on need.

To join, post in this thread, and you will be assigned a job within the party. If you would like to apply for a senate chair, please mention this and will let you know if your accepted.

my philosphy for cold weather states is that if its snowing or below 35, then pants are acceptable. If its cold makeup for the lack of pants by wearing a hat and/or jacket.

I dont like pants at all. I dont like shorts either though. I really don't even like boxers. I'd just walk around nude all the time if it were up to me. I usually spend all day in my underwear, unless I have to go outside. I dont want to be in a club though.

I've played paintball in shorts and a football practice jersey. The jerseys that are wide mesh and only come down to your midstomach... I realized it was a bad idea when I got lit up across the lower back on bare skin.

I only wear pants when I'm working in the machine shop (hot chips suck), and then not every time.

I've built houses in shorts, worked on race cars in shorts, shoveled snow in shorts, and driven race cars in shorts, just to name a few. Pants are for the weak.

I fully beleive that shorts and a t-shirt are plenty of protection for paintball, in fact I can't remember ever playing in anything else. But then again, I am kinda "padded" so to speak. lol Or maybe its just 'cause I am a Bad Dude . . . . . . . . . . . . nah. :D

I have on occasion taken one on the forearm that bleeds for a little while though, so your mileage may vary.

a faw weeks ago i was up un my cabin in southlake in the kern county and when i woke up the place was covered in snow so my dad and i drove down to this little market about 10 min away to get our morning java so as im walking in this elder lady starts almost yelling at me for wearing shorts and sandals and im like "you need to shut up grandma before i break your hip dont you ever tell me i cant wear shorts" no just joking but my dad came and he was "like year round it dosnt matter what i say he wont wear pants" the old lady walked away with a look of like disgust on her face

How do vegetarians go a year without meat? Some things are just ment to be, no matter what people say or think. We short(clothing not height) people like things to be simple, shorts year round :D Sure there may be a couple times that pants are required, and we are forced to wear them. I wear shorts all the time. I havent worn pants for... probably realistically 1 1/2 years now- except for formal dance and snowboard (even though i did where shorts one time) I had science teacher threaten to call my mom if i didnt wear pants the next day... and i didnt, i told her the truth... i only have two pairs of pants for snowboarding and hunting. so she let me slide. pants are foolish. there is no sense to them. they itch, no drafts and worst of all they dont fell as good as shorts...

I honestly didnt wear pants more than 3 times between 6th grade and junior year in high school. Afterwhich only a few times until sophmore year in college i decided that i needed to dress up a little when i went to bars and such.
