Having read the previous thread about chopped paint, I was wondering how other people clean up after a chop while still on the field. My pull-through squeegee does the best job, but that means removing the barrel, which is a pain-in-the- with a full hopper.

Anyone?

Just turn the gun upside down, fire one shot, then pull the barrel off. No problem with a ball being in the breech when you put the barrel back in. Of course I'd rather be able to shoot through the break but that never happens in my stainless barrels.

Note: This doesn't work if you have a warp feed. Trust me on this. ;)

Pull through works on the feild... Twist p/f plug pull out barrel, pull through squeege. put barrel on, twist plug. Entire process takes about 30 seconts.
In the woods, sometimes i straight shot it, and sometimes i play through, depends how bad it is, how much time is left, what i was doing when it broke etc. Speedball i just play though it.

Doh!

I wondered why the powerfeed plug was shaped like that ;-)
