This just popped into my head....not meant as a flame or anything...it actually was funny to me.

Anyways...I just got done reading a post, and I noticed a ton of one liner posts....the problem is that the peoples' signatures were either paragraphs or a long list of specs.

Well, I got to thinking about the format of Jeff Foxworthy's red-neck jokes and that seemed like the start of one.

If your signature is 10 times as long as your post....you might be a newbie.

sorry...i just think that is so funny. lol

anyone got some more "You might be a newbie" liners? If you post them, please make sure they are in good taste and they are in jest. :)

I agree.

I find it sad to read a 5 word post and then have to scroll down 4 paragraphs and a laundry list of equipment followed by ANOTHER paragraph…. Just to read the next person’s post. It would be nice if there was a size limit that could be implemented.

But who knows, some of these people might NEED a really lengthy signature..... something about inadequacy? LOL But I could be wrong. ;)

Yea it can be a pain, like the people who list every mod and upgrade they have ONTOP of all the ones they plan on getting in the next 6 years.

I used to be the same way, until I figured out it was kinda stupid. :)

Then again, now I have a silly picture as my new signature. Rather large. Lemme change that...

Actually I don’t mind a picture in people’s signatures. It adds character, and NO amount of text can add the same amount of character that a good picture can at a quick glance.

Who actually READS all that text anyway? LOL

Good point, but I don't think my picture could be defined as a 'good picture'. :)

I poured my very soul into this sig image! (which is equivelant to about 4-5 minutes in the real world). I may be no Shartley, but apparently I'm a sucker for the bandwagon. Ah well.

I think it was Cphilip who said that your sig. on your first post of the thread is all you really need. I think this is doubly true for people with the big sigs.

I kinda like my lil' signature. And my title below my name too.

Hey Shartley, I read that "God Concerning America" thing in your post....interesting.

Well, this seems like it could be an awesome thread. let's make a cool list of "You might be a newbie thread"

If you shoot 1200 rounds and eliminate only a tree.... You might be a newbie

If you don't use an AGD gun you ARE a newbie... 'Nuff said :)

PS: My sig is only one quick line :)

As Mr. Hartley pointed out, that was in my signature.

Interesting? Yeah, I thought it was too. Also, after reading it over again...I think its a load of crap. :)
