Emag Software?

Hey guys, im gettin an emag, i understand 3.2 is the newest software out there...the gun im getting has 1.37 or something...how many bps does that give me..and what does it mean?

i beleive is caped at 16 bps
thats all i know about it.

But seeing as how you're in NJ, you can get Tunaman to flash it to 3.2 easy.

1.37 isint bad I had that when I first got my Emag last month...I now have newer software...but I would recomend waiting a few weeks for the NEW NEW software to come out...you will be glad you did. but if you have some one in your area that can flash your board for free with the 3.2 then go ahead...

Tuna can flash your board for you to 3.2, but you may end up with the f/a bug like mine did, quick fix, but its annoying none the less

so is his code going to be put in the emags at the factory? or do we have to specifically send it to him?

He is awaiting Toms acceptance and if Tom does accept it then it will be factory. In the mean time without that Miscue will not flash it for you with his. He has let out some beta test ones and all and enough of that where he is comfortable and will not do any more until Tom adopts it. Its mighty cool. I have not recieved it personaly, just read and heard a lot about it. Its very cool from what I can tell.

Yes he is takeing it to Tom today at the SC meet in CA.

There was a inportant issuse that came up in his code last night..that will be fixed by the time Tom approves of it...it will be the AGD 4.01 wich means that every new Emag will have it and that you can send it to AGD or another AO person who is able to flash your board...I also here there may be a fee to flashing your board..but it will only be like 20$(im prety shure) and it will be well well worth it.

well 4.0x is now out...its awsome....there is a Debounce seting now..It is very stable and very fun to have ..In mode 1 it is a Max shot counter wich saves the highest BPS you hit pulling your tigger great for practice (its a lot of fun) Then you have knight rider mode(mode 2) you aslo have a TON of extras ...all very usefull
so if you want to get the new Software, now would be the time.

Talk to AGD about sending your mag into be flashed.


EDIT: the reason im saying 4.0x is becuse there MAY be a 4.01
it doesint realy matter becuse IF there is a 4.01 it will be the primary software that will be avalible a few days from now.

So if you send your Gun in now you WILL have the latest Software if there are any upgrades upone it.

If all you are having done is the software upgrade, the cost is $20 to cover return shipping.

Here (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=106230&highlight=q1.0)is the thread where Miscue first started talking about his software. Originally he had it capped at 26bps, but that might be lowered to the same as the 3.2 boards so that the solinoid dwell can be set to 30ms.

edit: I just realized that you are in England, return shipping could be a little more expensive. :)

This has smoothed out any problems that were found with the other programs. 4.0 includes scrolling script of your choice, and the now famous Knight Rider mode. It was released at Ao NorCal/SoCal. I would wait to hear from AGD on availability. Besides, Monday is a holiday, so not much will be shipping then anyway. :)
