It really depends on how much you are planning to spend. 99% of the variation in markers is based on your personal preference. I am partial to E-mags and Vikings, because frankly, I think they are the best bang for the buck. Stock, both run ~$600 used and ~$800 for an upgraded machine. Again, its all personal preference. I'd try to shoot as many different kinds of guns as possible at your local field before you choose what to buy.

Here are my suggestions:

Dragun TES
http://www.dragunempire.com/images_products/alltes_copy2.jpg
http://www.dragunempire.com/images_products/one.jpg
Price Range: $250 - $400
The TES is a mix between an Intimidator and a Spyder, and performs extremely well for its price. The TES utilizes a reflective EYE system which won't let the board (20bps capable) fire unless paint is fully in the breech. It's attractive, off-beat and a killer deal, especially for the price!!! Add "The One Kit," which adds a new RAM, LPR and Frame, and you've basically for a $400 Intimidator.

Hybrid Quest Numatix

http://www.bradypaintball.com/gunhyb1007.jpg
Price Range: $550-600
The Hybrid Quest is a variant of the popular Autococker, but utilizes a more aggressive front block, stylish milling and quality parts. The bolt is delrin, the feed system is 2-parted, incorporating a HedLok feedneck and an Adjustable Ball Stop system for less chops. Consistency is key, especially with the R-Drive Regulator.

AGD Dallara X
http://www.automags.org/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=1227623
Price Range: $550-$650
With the performance of an XValve (a second level Retro with a Level 10 Anti Chop System) and the looks of a truly custom marker, the Dallara X is an AO special. The Logic Vertical frame gives improved comfort and rates of fire (due to wrist positioning) and the Dallara Body by Nicad is truly beautiful. It takes Autococker threads and is a real winner here at AO!

I hope I helped you out! Good luck with your decision - My team is sponsored by Dragun and Hybrid, and I stand behind the quality of their products. The Dallara X is an ALL AO mag, and you'd have to talk to Tunaman and Nicad about that.

Peace man,

Jacob

You can Vikings for under 1000. A loaded unmilled(eyes, razor trigger, eye covers) is only 900 or 800. It has great efficency and speed. Cam easily out run a halo and qloader, 40 cps.

Matrix! Get a Matrix LCD (pick a used one up from www.pbnation.com for 650-750) then get Demon to mill it. With the Demon UL milling, it will weigh around 2lbs. Not to mention it will look uber pimp and it will be insanely fast.
