I love my Smokin' Outlast pants. Light weight, not a bunch of colors and funky crap all over them, hemp knees for durability when sliding/crouching!

the dye c4's are the bomb. their price is so high because it has a layer of scholler comfort temp material in it, which baisically keeps you reall warm in the cold, and real cool in the heat.

I own the dye scholler jacket, thats how i know. I cant wait to get a pair of c4s with the built in knee pads etc, they are great

I like the C4. I've ussed the Dye Hybrid and he JT pants.

Reason why I like the C4. Extra padding = more bounces. There is crotch padding...YAY! and the extra knee padding helps for bounces when I play back standups. The pants are well made and vent pretty well. They are heavy though. Not like it is a big factor but they are the heaviest pants I have worn.

You can get good deals on 03 dye hybrid pants right now. Great pants, virtually the same as the 04s. I got mine for $50 locally. I cant compare them to other pants, but I used them for the first time this past weekend, and they did everything I needed. They held up great and felt wonderful.

The big advantage for the c4s is the padding in the knees. I use dye core pads, which were slipping a bit this past weekend. Built in pads would be nice.

I wear Draxxus Rave pants, theyre pretty cool.

My teammate wear the smokin outlast pants and Id have to say, they look a lot more durable then mine.

03 hybrids are nice. very durable, and comfortable. Course they dont have knee padding, but idk i wear knee pads under em anyway. and theyre cheap now.

My C4s hell yea,

Anyhow the knee pads are pretty cheap, they are completely useless for sliding. They basically feel like pillows, soo designed for getting bounces and absorbing paint. Which is perfectly fine with me:)

I wear 03 Hybrids. I used to wear some JT cargos. The hybrids are fantastic. I love them.

I have the JT Tournament pants also. They are great, they have alot of stuff on them, but I use it all. They are really comfy with their liner too.

Dang! I paid 80 + 6 shipping for mine, with no pads directly from smokin since every other retailer online was out. I like 'em, but they're a little tight around where the pocket "forms" after you velcro up. They're fine after wearing them for a while.. but at first you're sort of like "WTF"? I got the XL which is 38-42, I'm a 42.. but all my pants are way loose.. so I figured the XL's would work good.. I have plenty of adjustability in the waist.. but again.. tight where the pocket forms.

So everyone pretty much seems to love their pants! Only complaint that I see is from Ultimate^^^^^. It looks like pretty much all of the popular brands are making a quality PB pant.

Just to get away from the idea that I'm going to side with what I own, I've owned ALOT of paintball pants let me list them in order from fav to least of ones that I've owned in the past).

C4s (currently own/use)
03 Hybrids (currently own)
JT 03 Tourny Pants
02 Hybrids
Toxic Performance Pants (currently own)
JT Pro Series Pants
BDUs

Anyhow personally I think the JT pants would be nicer if they were made of thiner lighter material and had a more baggy fit like the DYE pants.

most of Team BlackCell has been rocking the Dye Hybrid Pants for most of the 2003 Paintball Season, they rock. Before that we had JT03 pants, they sucked, knees got ripped up fast, straps broke on waist and ankles... yada yada.. crap.

I have heard some great things about Smokin products, especially the Pants, hooray for hemp...
