Freazing Paintballs

Ok this kid on my bus and I got into a big fight over how he thought you can completly freeze a paintball where it is solid like a ice cube, and I told him it was almost inpossible to freaze them becasue it has a ant-freeze kinda mixture in it, im i right or is he¿
