Okay, here's my question, AOers: I have a Proteus mask and it's time for a new lense. Now, this may be a dumb question, but in my opinion, the only dumb question is one that isn't asked... is a Spectre and a Proteus lense enterchangeable? Does JT just have one standard lense or is it a different lense for each mask?

Thank you, anyone who can help. :)

I believe that they make 2 different kind of lenses, and those two that you listed are interchangeable. This is only what I think so....

i thought those were the 2 different kinds of lense

it might be the elite lense and the spectra lenses

Turns out I had an extra Spectra lense and I tried it out. Just for the record, Proteus and Sprectra lenses are the same. Thanks you guys for responding. :)

YOU TRIED IT OUT!!!! WHO'S FINGERS ARE SORE!!!! :D

Yep... the Spectra fits the Proteous exactly. Both are Thermal lense and it fit....well as good as a JT does... dam things.

Thats the only thing I don't like about the JT masks. It is a royal pain to change the lens.

I can strip and redo my goggles in 10 mins including drying.... The more often you remove your lenses, the more easily they come undone. :-) clean them frequently and reap the rewards.
