I want a new gun. Just under $1000. I'm looking at Ule Emag, Impulse with big ups, Trixes, and Used Timmies. Tell me what you think. Please let me know the pros and Cons.

Quick Side question- I have a cocker(check the sig). I don't know how but my cocking rod has gotten stuck in and I don't know why. It isnt really a problem but if I get my gun retimed or something and need to change my velocity I'm screwed. When I use a wrench on the top of it where you adjust the cocking rod, the adjuster part just comes loose. Help Please!

Help MAGS pick his new gun!

I dont have anything against e-mags , but, i would go with a viking. Like an Immortal Viking or if ya can find one for a low price a Featherlight Viking.

You can buy Matrixes pretty cheap now, I'd look into a DYE (and replace it's regs).

I'd say viking or e-mag...if you go e-mag definately get the new software...3.2 or 4.0 when it is officially released. The 4.0 is in a beta testing stage right now, but being that I am one of the testers...IT ROCKS!

How could i forget about the matrix? Thats also a really good choice for a new gun. Dye's matrixes are goin for $850 now.

Vikings ans trixes will probably be a little faster than an Emag. Id go try them if you can before you decide.

thanks alot
most of you have said matrix or viking or emag
I don't need something extreme fast because im not a back player.
I want something that is low maintenance and wont break if i do a superman into a bunker. I've heard that the emag fits those standards... anything else?

Get a viking or Matrix. Vikings are sweet and so is the Trix.

I love my emag w/ 3.2 i think you could probably build on w/ the deadlywind karta body and rail system for less than a $1000. It would be light and fast. Talk to jayloo he has one of those set ups he could tell what it would cost.

here is a link to the karta bodies:

E-mag (owned one) - the most consistent (fps) marker I've owned yet. Rock solid, compact size, excellent customer service. The early models were a bit unwieldy and I could never get really high rate of fire. With the new ULE parts and updated software it shouldn't be a problem now. ($900) Will likely be my next purchase.

Timmy (looked at various models at store, played with my friend's) - VERY high rate of fire. I personally don't like the looks and the durability (materials) seems iffy to me.

E-blade cocker (I have a mechanical cocker. I test fired an E-blade) - It didn't really do it for me. With its exposed components, I imagine it would be a chore to clean after a day of play.

Let us know what you decide and your reviews.

LCD Matrix (pick one up for about 650 used on PBN)
ACE $250
Evolve Bolt Kit $135
AKA Sidewinder $100

That's $1000, and would be an awesome setup, or take it a step further and get the following upgrades as well:
Hybrid Trigger frame $129, and it absolutely rips!!
Mini Trinity $50 (fastest recharging LPR out right now)
Demon Guns UL Milling $100 (Milled similar to an ironman matrix, but is 4oz lighter, making the gun 18 oz lighter)
CCM No rise $30

and thats pretty much all the performance stuff, and cosmetics are up to you. That would be one sweet setup, and super efficient.

I think most of you have said the trix. I didn't know that the Trix with Evolve was so cheap. I think I'm gonna have to go with that. Sorry AGD:(. I'll end up with an Emag somehow I'll be willing to bet.
