I just got a new ULE body for my RT pro. My problem is figuring out how to remove the locking pin housing on the rail. It seems to be stuck in place and i cant figure out how to remove it. =\

Thanks for any help

use pliers to pull it out.

Turn the rail upside down, smack it with a hammer.

I used this thing called a drift, its thick in the back and tapers to a flat smaller part in the front. I put the thing part on the bottom of the twistlock assembly, and hammered it out. Also, i had the rail up on top of a ratchet fitting, so the assembly fell into it.

Using a drift pin punch may seem to work, but there is a little screw and spring in there that you dont want to ruin. Unless you want to waste a perfectly good twist lock assy, use a press or vice of some sort. It will pop right out as its tapered.;) :D

Thanks for your help guys. I just used a simple plastic mallet and lightly tapped it out.
