I've never read/subscribed to any paintball magazines, and I am thinking about subscribing to one. What does everyone read? Also make sure to include a link to their site. The less ads the better, the cheaper the better.

I'd have to agree that PB2X is the best magazine out there! They cover all the big events, include great articles, a little humor and they don't overwhelm you with ads. I like how they portray the average pball player, by including pics of various players and spectators at events and by conducting good interviews...not long boring interviews that no one wants to read. :D I'd choose PB2X anyday over any other mag...

except maybe my XMag...LOL!;)

I reccomend PB2X. APG is a newbie magazine, literally. Such as the articles are full of common sense, and the photo captions are EVEN worse. ie)The picture shows a guy crawling. THEN, the caption says: The crawl is a good move. Also it showed a squegee on a crawling guy, and the caption said: hit every target you can! (something like that) Its just crap how all they show on the cover is people aiming towards you. All they accept for C02 mail is people praising their magazine, even though it SUCKS. my 2 cents

My recommendation is Paintball Games International (PGI), though I would also recommend FaceFull. They are my favorite because they cover lots of tournaments, and the writers (for the most part) are intelligible and well-versed. APG is probably the worst magazine you can subscribe to - it's basically a 200 page long ad with about 5 or 6 articles in it.

And no one has suggested Crossfire yet? I am shocked! :)

I should make a new thread about this.

Most def...I'm gonna get a hotel room in Ontario this time instead of making the 4 hour round trip both days...Bea's there...so i can torment her...along with Mike Paxson and WGP's 3-man team The Fallen Angels..hehehehehe...much fun for me...no X-Kitty this year...no one to spread the AGD gospel...guess I'll just have to wear my "Mags are for ...s!" shirt anyways..

I will most probably be attending with PGI. No X-Kitty, though. But, I do spread the AGD word everywhere I go.

My local Chapters doesn't have PGI, how much does the average copy cost? I hope to be buying the march edition so I can read up on the Texball meet.
