When I can, I will try to post pics of cool and strange paintball guns that I find on the net for your enjoyment.

These are not your typical paintball guns. Most are custom jobs by Punisher and Doc (more PR for them :)). Many are oldie-but-goodies.

These are rare guns that make me smile... :)

Enjoy...

(if any links are broken, I'll try to fix them when I can...)

Let's start with the ORIGINAL!

This is the first FUNCTIONAL, GRAVITY FED semi auto, Camille by Glenn Palmer.

A discussion with Glenn Palmer on "Camille"

The following "interview" took place in email. Glenn was nice enough to discuss the history of one of his first semi-auto conversions, "Camille." Within this discussion, you also get something of a history of Glenn's semi-auto conversion legacy.

SM: Glenn, while we were at the Big Game you showed us a very old gun (7 years?).

GP: I began putting "Camille" together in early August 1988 and it became a working model in Sept. '88.. However, I didn't get a couple of bugs worked out of the automation system, namely the switch (4-way valve) and timing setup until late October. I dubbed it a Hurricane because most would simply seek out the best cover available when it was bearing down on them. An awesome force that most were just not prepared to deal with. Talk about a "power trip", it is easy to have am extreme level of confidence when you have that much of an advantage over everyone else on the field. I could basically dominate the field, wherever I went, with a "horrizontal hail storm, in living color."

[October '88] is when it went into full time service but it did not look the way it does now until June, 1989. Until then it looked very much like a stock Sheridan rifle (direct fed) with the operating cylinder (ram) extending from the rear of the barrel, behind the bolt. After I had figured out that I needed to turn the cylinder around and decided to mount it on the side of the gun I decided to change the appearance of the gun as well. After some thought as to how I wanted it set up, (sleeping on it several nights) I took it into surgery one night and emerged from the operating theater around daylight the next morning with what you see today. I then had EXACTLY what "I" wanted in a paintgun and haven't changed a thing about it since. [In fact, Glenn hasn't taken it apart for cleaning or repairs. It has been running perfectly for all these years. -sm]

SM: Specifically, was it one of your first semi-conversions?

GP: It is my first semi that worked. My first attempt at a semi was very early in 1988. It was based on the "blow back" concept applied to a PMI pistol. That concept was quickly abandoned by me because it would have required that it be force fed, by a spring, from the standard magazine tube on top of the gun and it also turned out to not be very reliable or consistant in operation. I wanted to have a closed bolt system so I had to figure out a way to get the bolt to stop momentarily at the rear so the balls would have time to drop into place.

In all honesty here, I got the idea for my automation system from David Craig who was Mat Brown's partner in what was then Adventure Game Supplies, now TASO. He had a really strange looking prototype of an automated Sheridan at a tournament in New York (it incorporated a very large regulator from a oxygen tank for a welding torch, and a 2-way valve hooked to a 1" dia., spring return cylinder). We talked about it a bit and since I was aleady working in that direction I would get it worked out and let him know what I came up with. The first order of business became an effective, CO2 tolerant regulator that was small enough to be built-INTO the gun. Next to be worked out was "timing".

I wanted a semi for myself because an old football injury in my shoulder was causing me considerable discomfort from pumping a gun several hundred times a day, especially in tournament play. I really did not have the desire or resources to go into producing paintguns so when I got the system worked out, I again talked with Dave Craig about turning all the details of the setup back over to him, but he had decided that the system was too complex to be worth while producing and it got dropped right there. I had what I wanted and did not really want to build any more of them because I couldn't see that I could produce the same gun for others without having to charge them an arm amd a leg plus their first born. I even tried giving the whole system away to a couple of others that should have been able to do it right but to no avail. It did not seem practicle or cost effective to others so I ended up having the only operational, gravity fed semi automatic paintgun for a bit over a year before I built another one for anybody else. The second one that I built was a double barelled version in a pistol format that wasn't a conversion but built entirely from scratch. Dan Debone, who is now my Service Manager came to me and said, "you build double barrels and you have a good semi, can you marry the two and build me a double semi in a pistol format." I said that I would give it a go and that It would take some time and money but I would let him know when it was done. Well, three months and $900.00 later I presented Dan with HUGO (the only hurricane that I could think of that was "badder" than Camile. Some of the things I learned from building HUGO led to my deciding to go ahead and begin building the Hurricane on a limited production basis. Most of the early Hurricanes were built from Sheridan, pump type, pellet guns; primarily because the "pump-up" pellet guns have a larger valve chamber that is better suited to get the performance that I wanted.

SM: Do you think it could qualify as *the* first semi-auto?

GP: I think it qualifies as the first FUNCTIONAL, GRAVITY FED semi auto. Others have told me that they were working on a semi at about the same time but I have not seen anything that worked. Tippmann's SMG came out in 1987 I believe, but I never did see it as an effective piece. The joke around here, even before Camille was that using the SMG just made you a better target and easier to find. Balistically, the .62 cal paint just couldn't cut it and they didn't go to the .68 cal semi SMG until late '89 and the .68 Special (gravity fed) didn't show up until mid-1990. About the same time as the PMI-3. Both, the 68 Special and the PMI-3 were both introduced as prototypes at the first Bay City open in Vallejo in July 1990. In that tournament, the Dogs Of War were fully equipped with Hurricanes and had not a single gun problem during the tournament. I am fairly certain that Camille is the oldest living Gravity Fed semi. Gravity feed is the distinction that I claim "firsts" in along with "functional". I don't claim to have invented the first semi ; my claim is to have developed the system that made semi-auto a reality to this sport. I prooved that gravity feed and semi-auto was possible and certainly the paintgun of the future, when most were telling me that it wasn't possible for gravity to keep up with the gun.

It worked on a design that sort of combined a ram driven electropneumatic with a spool valve design. If you want to see how it worked more specifically, you'd have to head on over to the AKA forum on PBN (here (http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=397309) is the direct link to the thread). The creator over on PBN has the sn pbjosh.

Here are some lengthy threads that he made detailing the creation of the gun:

I am over here enough, no need to goto pbnation :) -

Normally I am hunting around Deep Blue though..........

The Shiva in the 'Mystery Gun' link was a Proof of Concept design build mostly to see if the valve would work. It used standard Cocker Pneus, ran closed bolt, and instead of the sear being dropped there was a separate solenoid for the valve.

Currently I have finished off the final drawings, and they are sent out. We are collecting bids from machine shops, and we have several parts bid.

The new version has an interesting layout, which should allow the Shiva to not break any paint from the bolt action, and to stop FSDO.

Not the greatest compared to some of those custom wonders, but heres my stingray I that cost me a grand total of $25 for a fun project.

Its a now-and-then tinker project. I still need to acquire a 98 custom flatline shroud to modify into a foregrip.

We started work on the marker in 94, the first proto's were high psi(400psi)Roger and I still use them, they were a automag/autococker hybred, it out performed anything in its day but the high tolerances made production (cnc) a nightmare so we moved to low psi.

Those two pic were two of the earlier low psi markers before procaps signed a manufacturing deal and wanted the body change to what the Matrix is now(easily extrudable) the manual model was made first then sent to aardvark to install the electro package but we never got it back to update the manual bolt kit to the performance level of an electro solenoid 4way cycling instead of a manual 4 way, procaps and aardvark worked on the changes themselves and the Matrix was then released...

Pretty sure it was a gun used for shooting squibs on movie sets.

-That's exactly what it is.

It's a "semi production made" Special-Effects airgun, designed to shoot 11/16" balls for various purposes. It's completely pneumatic/mechanical, has both full-auto and semiauto, and a 20-round (as I recall) spring-fed magazine.

ROF is adjustable, velocity is adjustable and it runs on "shop air" level compressed air.

Bacci has the website for the fellow who makes them- or made them anyway- and it gives some details. It is NOT designed to use on the field, it's purely meant for shooting "spark balls" and other SFX projectiles, including glass balls (which shatter against brick or walls to simulate bullet strikes) or fake-blood-filled balls, and so on.

Way back when ('86 ish) it was one of the only such guns the FX people would use, from an adapability and reliability standpoint. Nowadays the same FX guys will use anything from PMI-3s to Raptors.

FX balls are still about the same though.

Doc.

Anyways, the dual AT85 aka "Hansel" made it's debut at Global Conquest last year. I'm planning a couple revisions (like the stock and the bipod - too bulky and not enough functionality) and it will hopefully see action at all of HSI's big games this summer.

After having focused most of our attention to building RAIL kits, We here at DeadlyWind decided it was time to show off a few more of our product ideas. One of these is the "Inchup" grip style. With the Inchup, gone are the days of the Spyders with their grips and regs spread so far apart. After all, if you are going for that style, you might want to look into the Tipman Modle 98. I personally have not been much of a fan for the power-feed-only body style (which the X-tra has broken!) and the fairly large gap between the grip and the front regulator/ex-chamber.

So, I give you the DeadlyWind Railgun.

The Railgun is the result of possibly all the best Spyder parts out there, mixed in with some cutting here and milling there, turning out a Spyder like no other. At the heart of the Railgun is a modified RAIL closed bolt kit which is married with a vertical-feed body. The billet trigger frame is then mounted to it an entire inch farther forward than stock, resulting in a tighter, balanced, more appealing package. After hammer modifications are done, the overall travel of the hammer is reduced, which results in more consistence strikes, less kick, and less re-cock effort. A custom-made aluminum/delrin hybrid bolt is 8 times lighter than stock bolts while allowing more flow. Add to that a valve board out to the max, low pressure springs, and a high-flow vertical asa adapter, and it just screams "LP!".

OK, what exactly was being smoked when this was built?!? PVC fumes have got to be toxic.. because that and only that can explain this contraption. This is a paintball marker, with the body made entirely of PVC. It is closed bolt, and it operates at around 60PSI! Its valve design is based on the old pressure-difference "pop" disk. While it does allow an ungodly amount of air to pass through it when opened, it is VERY in-efficient. Also because of the spring-returned single-acting home-made air-ram (any more hyphens??) controlling the sleeve bolt, its re-cycle rate is pretty far down there.. around 3 or 4 per second.

The trigger mechanism is based on that of an Automag.. It performs dual actions upon firing. As it is pulled, it first seals the air chamber off from the air supply via an "on-off" valve. Then it releases the "dump" port on the back via a ball-bearing "sear".

If you are looking for a 4 or 3-way, keep looking.. its not there. The air ram operates off the main air chamber.. as the chamber is pressurized, the air ram moves the bolt forward. After firing, and the air chamber is empty, there is no longer any air pressure on the air ram, so the spring returns it back to the open position.. as long as the trigger is held and the air is cut off from it.

This entire marker was built mostly from PVC, 1/8" think aluminum, some nuts and bolts, and some R/C car ball joints and shock cartridges (for the air ram and modified internals for the on-off valve). It takes stock Spyder barrels.. but they thread directly into the PVC... so thread life will probably be pretty short. :/

All it needs now is a nice adj. output tank (60 psi?!?) and a (pvc?!?) dropforward..

What seems to be rage these days? Electric Autocockers! But with prices ranging from "out-of-my-price-range" to "waaay-out-of-my-price-range", not just everybody can have one-including myself.. until now. The basic operation of an electric Autococker is fairly simple. Your trigger moves a switch, which feeds juice(via batteries) to some sort of a solenoid which pulls the sear, firing the marker. Then, after the firing is commenced, another solenoid (electro-pneumatic valve) is activated which controls the recocking mechanism. The whole tricky part to all of this is timing it all out to make it function properly and smoothly. Since the input(trigger) and the outputs(the two solenoids) are all electric now, everything can easily be controlled by a chip or some other timing circuitry. OR you can keep all the timing mechanical by making the two actions (fire/recock) interact with each other.

The second approach is what I used to build my home-brewed EAC. It is a very simple, cheap electric conversion, but it inherently does not have all the bells-and-whistles as the all-electrically-timed rout can have. There are only two drawbacks to my approach. First, you only have one fire mode.. Semi. But since this is the only legal mode of fire in tournaments, its not really that bad. The second drawback is the fact that it cycles directly with the trigger, just like non-electric Autocockers. But since non-electric Autocockers can shoot just fine, this is not really much of a problem either.

"So why bother?!" you may ask.. well, to shoot an Autococker with a trigger pull of 1mm is pretty dang nice. That also allows consistent shots because there is almost no marker body movement as you "stroke" the trigger. Also, with a little practice, you can rap some pretty impressive BPS out. I have measured mine at 14bps. I know its not all about BPS, but it sure is fun, and nice to have when needed!! :)

On to the details..

The test-bed of my project is a 32* Pro Autococker with the Bob Long "bloated" grip. At first I didn't like this grip very much, but it provided some extra room inside the grip to mill and fit stuff in.. which turned out wasn't necessary, but the extra bulk gave me a sense of security while milling. I started off by building a combo manifold/microcylinder block to mount to a very small 3-way electro-pneumatic valve, which was all mounted in the grip. The micro-ram pulls a linkage connect to the sear. Then, on to the front block of the Autococker, I made another manifold which mounted and provided air to a regular electro-pneumatic 4-way valve, and also split air off to go to the 3-way in the grip. This manifold was fed air from the output of the Rock reg. Back inside the grip, where the micro-ram is pulling on the sear, I mounted a micro switch (angel switch, same as trigger) which was tagged when the sear was pulled down. This switch feeds power the 4-way on the front block. Everything is run off of the hopper batteries.

So, operation is very simple. Pull trigger(switch1), feeds power to 3-way inside grip which pulls the sear(firing marker), and tagging the second switch(switch2). This second switch then powers the 4-way on the front block, causing the back block to move back. As long as you hold the trigger in, everything stays in this state(just like a regular AC). As soon as the trigger is released, power is lost the 3-way in the grip, causing the sear to move back up, releasing the second switch, causing the 4-way to move the back-block forward again.

It may not be the best setup, or the most efficient, but it gets the job done on the field- and pretty dang well most of the time… :)

ok heres the story of the blaphoon, it is not really even a palmer gun  . Built back alley by John Byrant (he use to work at PPS) if you squint you can read that on drop forward. Removable barrel, screw in detents, side mounted rock, and a feed tube that was cut to fit a power feed. The pin was also replaced with a nasty pin to make it hold the piece between the ram and the bolt. The old one would simply not hold on and the ram would would cycle by itself without the bolt. Seems to shoot pretty well. The dye stickies that were modded to fit the grip look like ****, the inside is torn out and looks horrible, there are a few holes in the stickies as well. O well their comfy :p .

The Dead By Dawn Holy Fist of Antioch

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Fist of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou loadist the Holy Vortex. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Vortex in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

Pictured above is the M41-C Pulse Rifle. The C Model is the second level upgrade from the – 41A version shown in ALIENS II. The C model was developed when life forms were discovered that were found to be resistant to the A models 10mm/30mm projectile based system. The M41-C combines a 17mm Automatic Rifle with a forearm mounted 1000 Kilowatt chemical/plasma pulse cannon. The rifle can fire both armor piercing and high explosive shells and the pulse cannon is useful against projectile-hardened targets.

Features:

1. The replica is constructed using a brand-new Airgun Designs Automag paintgun

2. Comes with built-in 8 oz CO2 tank (disguised as pulse cannon).

3. Fake 17mm High Expolsive round in breach.

4. 12 inch Airgun Designs barrel.

5. Comes with:

Tool Kit
Automag owners manual & video tape
Disassembly instructions

------------------------------------------------------------

Price Information

Each gun is made to order. Delivery time is approximately three weeks.

Price for ALIENS M41-C Pulse Rifle is $799.00.

This is actually a rip off the G11 rifle made by H&K. It fired caseless ammo at a burst rate of over 2000rpm. It was designed to fire 3rnd burst, and to get the three rounds out of the gun before the recoil from the first shot effected the accuracy of the second and third shots, and it was able to do that.

the hammmer and internals work in the same manner as before but the difference is in bolt opperation.
the bolt has been cut from the rod and attached to an external ram mounted to the side of the gun and operated via the three way in the trigger frame.
i will need to incoperate a trigger guard and the gun is completely unfinished.
no paint and no milling done except for removing the tippmann name or the left body halve and the warning on the right side.
the mounted parts are in using jb weld and it has not been sanded and finished so the gun as now has a very rough redneck look that for some perverted reason i have fallen in love with.

Very interesting:)

Since the ram is only responsible for chambering the ball, my guess is that it can be set low enough to pinch balls without messing up the gun's timing cycle.

I also wonder if it now shoots "flatter" and "longer" and "more accurate" like the autococker? You know... all that "closed bolt" magic stuff? ;):p

Here's a look at the direct feed rail. It's got Angel threads and a KAPP low-rise.

List-o-Features
-CCI Phantom Stock Class w/45 frame
-'03 series DYE "squishies"
-6" CCI barrel
-15" custom barrel
-'Streamliner' undercocking with clear pump handle
-Direct feed rail system with KAPP low-rise
-'Bullet-Block' SC feed with built in CCI bucket changer
(takes 10rd tubes direct)
-Bobbed valve with PPS micro gage
-Graphite T-stock
-CCI bottomline
-Lightly milled trigger group
-Blue Dust anodize (R5)

Also included
-OEM parts kit
-OEM manual
-extra micro line
-Nelson spring kit
-CCI Detent rings
-Extra KittenLickin'(tm)

Built from all new parts, has fired exactly 50 rounds to prove both feeds. Very comfy as a pistol too, points very naturally.

Every so often I get an idea of a fun gun to build. I say fun because it is almost never an upgrade. Usually it's just heavier, pump or stock class or generally in the downward direction of technology with the possible exception of the E-mags. But they are fun. Since fun is the reason that I play in the first place I think I am on the right track. This has been going on since 1990 starting with my 68 Special. I can't think of a gun I have ever owned that I was completly happy with out of the box. Even if it's just cutting off the barrel. Justice(my lever action rifle) looks a bit crude but it has charm since it is one the first extensive modifications that I made. The E-mags were a sponsorship for my Automagnus tank from Tom Kaye. It was a one year sponsorship that has now expired and I have since been unable to get a reply from him.

I'll post some new creations soon.

I learned some new information on the PPS lever action gun posted on the previous page. It started out as a pump when it left Palmer's then the owner converted the action. I thought something didn't seem fung shui about it. Here is the best part. Although it is not noticable, the thing actually has two barrels and feed tubes. It's a nasty. I wonder where he plays. I feel the need to cross paths -and swords!

This is a Mil-Sim project I did with my 2002 Shocker. The stock is made from three pieces of laminated oak, the clip is made from some polyetylene (plastic). The Max Flo is concealed under the blocky front grip (which is also made of oak). As for upgrades there aren't really any. The Delrin bolt and full body filter can be considered ones but those came stock on this when I bought it.

Special Ops - Hammer - Mobile Heavy Gunner

$1,046.95

Detailed Description
- (2) Tippmann - A-5s
- (2) Tippmann - A-5 Flatline Barrels
- Equalizer - A-5 Double Trouble Kit

We've played extensively with the Equalizer Double-Trouble crank and found conclusively that it kicks truckloads of ***.

It's no surprise, since this beast rips off around thirty rounds per second. With a couple of flips of the Gatlin-style crank, you've got half a pod of paint in the air, sailing toward a cowering foe.

When we absolutely, positively need the opposition to put their heads down, we bring up our Heavy Gunner and his Double-T. He rips off a couple hundred rounds and everyone hits the dirt (and then we charge up under the firestorm and bunker 'em all.)

Also, we've found that the Double-T works like cluster-bombing artillery. Paired with optional Tippmann Flatlines, the Double-T can launch a fusillade of paint a very long ways. Even if you could never hit a guy with your normal paintgun, the Heavy Gunner can rip off a giant arc of paint that will splatter all over the enemy. It's amazing what a couple hundred lobbed paintballs can do. It's the perfect solution to hammering guys across an open field.

And, of course, the Double-T is ideal for mowing down bushes. When we have an op force that's concealed behind bushes and grass, we bring up the Heavy Gunner to pound through. With that kind of volume, you always get some paint through. Our Double-Ts have pounded many a dude who was hiding behind some brush.

We wouldn't be doing the Double-T justice if we didn't mention our liberal use of the Double Trouble in our paintball tank. We've mounted one of these bad boys in a rotating mesh turret and it raises massive hell in scenario games. The Razorback and its Double Ts racked up over 2,000 eliminations just during the Summer of 2004.

Technically, the Double Trouble crank works by toggling the triggers of two Tippmann A-5s four times each per turn of the crank. That's right: four cranks blasts our thirty-two balls. The air supply of both guns is combined in the aluminum rail that holds both guns together under the pistol grips.

You can mount the Double-T in a fixed position, such as on a tripod (not commercially available at this time) or strap it to a specially-made vest that totes the beast around in relative comfort. The vest clips onto the rear "D" rings in back of the A-5s. It suspends the guns at chest level - which we've found it just perfect for field use. The "D" rings on the A-5s are a little weak. We've had to re-crimp ours once or twice to get them to hang on.

We've run the Double-T on both CO2 and compressed air and it runs great on either. We have run into a little bit of air-starvation when we getting cranking hard on the thing. We fixed the problem by drilling out the 90 degree fitting on the back of the connecting bar. Also, the stock connecting bar makes the paintball trajectory cross (when you fire it) only about ten yards out. We prefer to have them cross at thirty yards, so we slotted the rear connection points and now our Double-Ts are fully adjustable.

Our Heavy Gunner packs a large compressed air, or a 20 lb. CO2 tank, to get through a game. During scenario games, we really go big on the air supply. Our specially-made vest holds 1800 rounds of paint and the biggie-sized tank. It weights about forty pounds loaded, which really isn't too bad to pack around.

So, if you're like Tim the Tool-man Taylor, and you stay up late at night fantasizing about MORE POWER, then the Double-T should definitely be on your Christmas list.

this is the "double trouble kit" that they used to attach two A-5's together...

M98 Pump Kit $110

We developed this kit for an Australian field that wanted to convert their semiauto Model 98 field rentals into pump action guns that would be legal for use under the country's stringent anti-gun laws. Thankfully for the Aussies, recent legislation has made allowances for semiauto paint guns.

The conversion generated a lot of interest when we showed it off at the Fall 2003 Castle Conquest, and we're finally making it available as a kit. The kit includes everything needed to convert your M98 into a pump:

CMI Pro/Carbine 16" barrel with stainless pump stop collar
Lapco Pro/Carbine to M98 barrel adapter
Pump grip
Pump rod and cocking plate
Cocking knob
Modified valve body with blowback restrictor plate
Red, green, and blue Maddman mainsprings cut to length (to eliminate pre-load on an uncocked hammer)

The Komodo

http://www.electriciguanapaintball.com/sitepics/komodo/komodo1.jpg

The Komodo is the second star of our custom in-house marker line-up. It is almost ready for release, but as is always the case, we won't even consider selling a product until we are completely satisfied with the performance. Each Komodo shall be a 100% hand built custom marker that will absolutely set itself apart in performance and design. The Komodo is small, light and packs all the high end performance that the cocker platform is capable of. This will be a marker that is equally at home in the hands of a front player hugging a bunker or a back player who needs maximum fire power. That being said, here are a couple sneak peeks at what the Komodo is all about.

http://www.electriciguanapaintball.com/sitepics/komodo/komodo2.jpg

As you can tell from the pictures, we have shortened the entire body, manufactured a custom 15 degree front block, back block, bolt and even a prototype hybrid double trigger that you DON'T have to cut the trigger frame to use. We really like the idea of being able to play with a single or double trigger, depending on your mood. Next, we side saddled the ram to keep the length to a minimum and eliminate the need for a long rod extending all the way to the back block. The LPR goes into a custom bolt for the front block and the 4-way has been relocated to the grip. Best of all, notice that there is no more cocking rod flying back at your face. We have decided to use the Maddman Rocket valve for its superior flow and lp operation. For pneumatics, we like to use Palmer or Dye as they both have high flow 4-ways that are amazingly short throw. A Dye or WGP hinge can be easily adapted to the design, but the slide trigger is still our favorite. The design will also accept an e-blade without a problem, it will just need a slightly different front block.

http://www.electriciguanapaintball.com/sitepics/komodo/komodo3.jpg

Shortening the body as much as possible necessitated a new velocity adjusting system and custom back block/bolt. Production models will have a delrin/aluminum bolt for higher performance.

That was the whole idea. The Terminator gun spins and feeds perfect. I've been doing that for over a decade. But the new direct feed gun doesn't seem to feed during a spin. I'll have to come up with a solution to that. They both have and auto-trigger function as well.

Since the point of rotation starts the cocking level hinge and moves to the hand (it actually shifts to allow the full process to happen), about the only way you're going to get it to feed is to use a spring loaded feed system like on a sydarm or the longbow tac 1 kit. The longbow holds 20 rounds, you could easily get 15 to 20 by mounting a second spring loaded tube directly on top of the barrel, give you that double barrel over under look.

Yeah, looking at the entire spinning process that john wayne used to do, its pretty evident that the inerta is spining directly away from the around the feed port during the entire rotation process, definitely spring loaded is the key. You'll make the marker more stream line in the process without the bloater sitting on top.

Funny that you would mention that. There used to be a video on Have blue's site but I don't know if it's still there.

As for the direct fed rifle, It's an RTP Viper. I'm not going to carve up the direct feed just so I can spin shoot it. I can already do that with the other one that I've had for about thirteen years. The direct feed gun fulfills diferent purposes; more sustained fire with the direct feed and autotrigger and a super tight bore barrel for all that ridiculously small paint everyone forces me to use.

Does anybody know how they joined the two sears together? I've been working on a double Mag myself (working prototype), but the only thing I could think of that wasn't ungodly complicated was to join the sears together with one long rod so they pivot along the same axis.

Thanks.

well i see no ram, unless its side mounted on the other side of the gun... and although i have no idea how that would work IF that was the ram... thats what im going to say it is, only because i have no idea what else could go on a cocker :D

Its not a cocker... its a blazer... And the ram is on the other side..

The extended piece serves no purpose other than a small velocity lug burried inside of it.. the rest is just more or less a carry handle

Regarding that funky blazer... The back part is where the main spring/hammer are located.
