question about emag safety

Hey all,

is the safety supposed to slide around when its not engaged? if i tilt the gun, it falls out, but then it retracts as soon as the trigger touches it. ive never had a gun that did this before so I'm just wondering if this is normal :(

No. Not normal.

There's a spring & ball bearing that are supposed to go in the assembly. If it's doing what you say it is, my guess is that you are missing one or both items.

You can purchase the spring and ball-bearing from AGD, or you can just remove the safety completely. :)

does the safety even work in e mode? The trigger stops well short of the safety. I haven't had a chance to gas this thing up yet since my tank is at home and I'm at college. the emag just came to my door yesterday.


do a large number of people not use emag safeties? I dont use one on my autococker but an electric trigger is easy to trip.

The Emag safety blocks the sear...use it.;) :D

a safety on an emag is a must. because of that D yellow pin! its a pain to keep sticking that pin in the battery to shut off the guns electronics, so it's easy to forget. I have broken balls in my barrel bag on many occasion because of how light the trigger pull is. i highly reccomend getting it fixed for safety reasons, plus tourney rules.

AGD online store sells the parts I would think. Be careful when you get the the ball bearing and spring because they are very tiny and extremely easy to lose.

Installing the safety and selector switch is truly an art to be mastered. You will need to practice this one a bit so order a few xtra balls and springs. ;) :D
