Right now I have a Kapp DZ3 and my dad has a Kapp mini drop. The first time I tried the mini drop was with his long 88/4500, but today I tried it with my 88 stub and it was a hell of a lot more comfortable the my DZ. So now I'm looking for something a lot smaller. Something that will bring the tank like an inch forward and an inch down. Something around there. I was thinking to get a unimount, but the don't bring the tank up any. So I'm open to suggestions. Also I would prefer a drop that I can slide my kapp on/off on to.

Oh yeah the only reason I don't like the kapp mini drop is because I cant unscrew my tank. And if you use the drop and have pictures of it on your marker. Please post some pics. Thanks

try a shocktech small or meduim, both are very nice. you'll probably like the small.

Should be plenty of them in his threads. I got some on Mags with Flatlines but since I use flatlines I got none of them showing the Dove tail set up. They do have that. And those should be here around in places. Just search on Datapimp69 user name and also look in Dealers forum. He has a new direct mount one out too.

Good info on his site: Picts and videos http://www.dppp.net/

I really like those, but do you know if they would clear an 88 stub?

Apparently, I can't get a picture up, but here is a link to a different thread that has the pick of a red Custom Products Drop Forward: http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=120529 Its the second picture.

Yes. Buy the one labeled the "XL" arm. Its designed to fit the stubbies. Go to his site that I linked. Its all there. I have one on the way for my 72 and thats the same diameter as the 88 is.

Well look at his new quick connect! No drop at all! Very nice set up for you no droppers out there.

I personaly like mine forward. And his drop takes it forward and drops it just enough to clear. No more.

That one you got cryer does not look like the XL arm he would need.

Have you tried a CP Rail. I have had both a shocktech short drop and a CP rail and the CP rail feels much more comfortable because it doesnt kink your wrist.

Yeah thats one of the rasons I want to get away from the DZ. That thing kills my wrist. Right now that datapimp and shocktech are the main ones I'm looking at right now.

Also the one Gundam V has is nice but it don't look like it would clear a 88 stub. I think that will be my mine problem. Is trying to fin one that will fit an 88 stub.

I would suggest a cp rail, but if you are completely set on a drop I would go with a shocktech mini stumpy
