No, National has an exclusive distributorship arrangement with them or something like it. The Empire is sound activated versus the old Halo B. I shot Manike's at AO SCII. Very, very fast!

well, it seems like the same thing as a halo with ripdrive, just it is sound activated (i dont know if that is good or bad:rolleyes: ) and it can run on 4AA batteries, which is kinda neat. yet, i bet it costs about 30 bucks more than a regular halo, which is already up there in the price range.

Odyssey said somewhere that it should feed 1-2 bps slower but will not be effected by paint colors.

i have never heard of complaints of the halo 2's having any troubles reading paint, but maybe thats just because i am ignorant.

When will the new HALO be out to the general public?

NPS had them in the latest catalog saying in stock and ready to ship @$179 w/ Rip drive installed.

They somethimes have trouble with dark shelled paint and occasionally trouble with the eye's getting dirty, blinded by broken paint and sometimes moving around.

Don't ask me,it's sounds pretty outragous. But I do think that's msrp so it might go for $150 retail? Either way,it 'll probably by more than the normal Halo.

Some of the guys from empire were @ PBX Battlezone last Saturday with the reloader B. The only difference i could discern was that it had sound activation, so once you shoot, it's already pumping ball into your gun, before it notices any spacing between the balls. not really worth it in my opinion.

Well i got the Reloader A (the revvy one) and hasnt given me any problems.

it's great on the revvy because it isn't force feed like the halo, it acutally gives you a better shot at not breaking, but what can it really do on a halo since it is already force feed??
