I don't know about you guys but lately when i look at guns i get bored because either the guns i would like are out of my price range such as matrices, angels, timmies, or are just too common and boring for me. Imps, spiders, autocockers. anyone know of what could help me kick these blues. becaus ei wanna search for a new gun that i can set my sights on buying in a year or so, but nothing sparks my fancy.

I am supposed to be getting my Cyborg tomorrow. I had the same problem until I saw Macdevs site and read about them. I got tired of everything out and was looking for something different so I ordered one.

If you want a REALLY good gun, thats not to common... look around at the 2004 vikings...

Everyone is looking at the 2004 vikings. While they are sweet markers, they are having some issues with them. It all depends on your personal preferences. I was seriously considering the viking prior to seeing the Cyborg.

Ok , so what is so special about this Cyborg other than the fact that a team won a tourny with it?
It appears to be the same thing with a haircut.

I haven't looked at the thread in a lonnnng while (I'm about to look actually after remembering it), but the Alien gun a guy at PBN is making should be around 700 bucks and it definately isn't the same old thing.

I wouldn't say there is anything "special" about the Cyborg. Its not a radical departure in design. He was asking for something different so I proposed the Cyborg. From the research I have done it looks to be a very promising marker and since only a few are around right now it might be what piccolo is looking for.

Well I have a RT Pro and wasn't too impressed with it until I finished installing my LX today. Wow, I like it a lot now. I have a 2003 B2K in the mail right now that I bought new in box for $330. Either one of these guns I think is a step in the right direction depending on what you are looking for.

First off have you shot all the different variety of guns? There are a ton to choose from. Don't just choose to get whats "in" or choose to rebel and get whats not in. Does it really matter how repetitive it gets seeing the same guns over and over? To me the only thing that matters is how well it shoots to YOU.

Sorry but trends bother me, as well to people who rebel against the "cool" thing to do and do the opposite. I like to do whatever seems best to fit me, hence why I shoot my gun just because I like how it shoots, not because everyone else likes it. This post may serve no relevence to you. Just ignore this rant of mine. ;)

well i have shot matrices before, a couple of guys at my field have them. i have shot an angel before nothing really special. and my best friends has a cocker. i liked the matrices. but i don't know. i'm in a state of meloncoly when it comes to markers that are on the market. I haven't shot a timmy becaus eno one around here has one yet.

Really it's not the gun as much as your trigger setup. I didn't like my angel until the trigger was tuned to perfection. ;) :D

piccolo_dbz39
02-03-2004, 11:08 PM
all the guns i have shot have been pretyt tuned. i'll have to play a couple of games with the guns my buddies have. When did the Cyborg come onto the market? I have never heard of the gun until now, and have heard or seen no hoopla about it. Any of you guys shot an omen before?

By the way, since we're talkin about the cyborg: Is it a completely new design?

I got $5 SP goes after them next. Nothin like smashing the little guy's dreams. :p

Hey, I've got one of those! They seem to do pretty good unless you use them on CO2 in the rain (then, the marker seems to go into China Syndrome).
