Hey I am getting a Flatline 68. I know that the drop forward is pretty short and I like to be as low profile as possible. So I was wondering if I should just get a regular drop forward like this(Image Below)

That should work...I think. Well let me know please.

It did'nt show up. I know you can mount them on a Kapp DZ2.

Damn, stupid image. I'll try again. Well Kapp DZ 2 because they are too expensive. I just want a cheap one like this(Image Below).

That one should work. It's a Shocktech. LMK.

Mike

If you want to run it on that drop forward you'll have to get a custom products flatline adaptor. What it does is mounts in place of the flatline drop giving you a rail type mounting system. This will allow you to use most drops that are on the market right now, as long as they have the rail on them.

Are you sure? Because I am using the old drop forward and a new one. I am double drop forwarding it.

on my flatline, i measued the dia. the slimmer part of the reg measured an inch and an eighth, i believe this would work on a kap dropzone with minimal effort.. and if its to small you can drill the dropzone out.

So, would I have to get that adapter to use say, a Shocktech drop with the flatline?

Another question:
I´m getting also a Flatline 68ci. How is the marker balanced with the original DF. I have a Mini with a DYE alu barrel. Would I need another DF to balance it perfect?
Thanks!

Personally I have grown to love the stock one! The back of the tank sticks out far enough for met to shoulder my mag perfect, but with warp on my mag now, im looking in to the 4.5k flatline dovetail mount, I wtb one from AGD and mount an APOC rail to move my tank back further, anf if I dont like it that far back.. I can just buy drop and mount the rail on :)

also, im 6'3, my arms are very long and lanky, so i like my set up longer than most people..

thanks for thee info, but how is the marker balanced with that original Flatline DF? I also like a longer setup, to shoulder the marker, but if you´re running it is better to have a good balanced setup! Also it takes less time to aim with a balanced setup!

With just the flatine on and no hopper, its a little bit back heavy but with a hopper and some paint its pretty evened out- Its just a pain in the butt to take the thing off, but hopefully AGD's new flatline mount will make it easier
