Punch Card - Rules and Basis of the Game

In punch card, the object is to move your squad around the paintball field, and collect all five flags, plus all five different "punches" on a card. This is not as easy as it sounds, as your five man squad is trying to obtain these items at the same time as twenty-nine (29) other five man squads.

We will put thirty (30) five man squads on the field at the same time. Each squad will start from a position distant from any other squad, and at the sound of the horn, you have forty minutes to obtain all of the punches, and all five flags. Punches are worth 2 points each, and each flag is worth ten points. Points are totalled for each individual player, and added to the team score.

Team 1, Player 1 obtains 2 punches before he is eliminated from the game. 4 points
Team 1, Player 2 obtains 3 punches before he is eliminated from the game. 6 points
Team 1, Player 3 & 4 obtain all 5 punches and finishes the game 20 points
Team 1, Player 5 has all 5 punches, plus 1 flag at the end of the game 20 points

Team total would then be 50 points out of a possible 100 points.

We will play 5 to 6 games, (dependant upon weather and daylight), with prizes going to the team with the most points at the end of the day, and the individual player with the most points at the end of the day.

Each game, the players will have a different "punch card" to carry, as the used cards are turned in to the score keeper to tally your points.

We are limited to a total of 30 squads (150 players), so pre-registration is required. If you show up to the field as a walk-on, and there is space available, you will be placed in a squad. Once placed, you cannot switch squads during the course of the day. Pre-Registration fee is $30.00, which includes all day air.

Base Rules:

1. Each squad is limited to five (5) players.

2. Game time is limited to forty (40) minutes

3. Each player is responsible for his/her punch card. A player cannot carry multiple punch cards.

4. Flags when captured must be visible and cannot be concealed.

5. All punch cards must be turned in to the score keeper prior to the start of the next game. No punch cards from a previous game will be accepted after the game on horn sounds. If you fail to turn in your punch card, you fail to accumulate those points.

6. All flags will be turned in to the score keeper at the end of the game. A player may turn in multiple flags, in which case he/she will be awarded the points for however many flags in their possession. Example: Player 1 turns in 4 flags, he/she earns 40 points to their individual score. Flag points will not be split. Example, Team 1 Player 1 has 1 flag, and Team 1 Player 2 has 2 flags. Player 1 gets 10 points, Player 2 gets 20 points. We will not split points between the two players.

7. Basic rules of paintball apply ... if you are hit, and the ball breaks, then you are eliminated. Call yourself out, leave the field without communicating to other players, and turn your punch card in to the score keeper to have your points recorded.

Splatbrothers Paintball has 89 wooded acres developed for play, and the starting positions for each squad is such that you cannot get any good shots on another squad at the game on horn.
