I have 2 on/off's next to each other and one has a much smaller hole than the other. The pin for the one is to big for the other. I don't have a pin for the smaller one. What's the deal?

is this a riddle?

ok I got one:
Q. Jim is a butcher, he is six feet tall what does he weight?

A. MEAT!

-what kind of on off's are they? are they asa on/off's? are they the same brand? same model? maybe that is just how they were made. post a pic of them.

Well being this is a Mag board and I mentioned the pin was to big for the on/off it doesn't take much to figure I am talking about the on/off valve assembly in my "Mag". I don't have pics. Now, on the on/off bottom there's an o-ring, above it there are like 2 sections one of them being the part that's on the outside of the valve, it's much thinner than the part on the other on/off and the other section is thicker. They need a diagram sticky of all the on/off assemblies made. I don't even think a pin goes in the one with the smaller hole. Thanks.

oh, right..sorry:D

the on off assembly on mags like the automag68 have a pin that is the same width throught and the assembly is barrel shaped.
on the rt the pin is biger on one end, and smaller where it exits the on off assembly.
this was done to decrease the amount of force needed to pull the trigger.

the parts are not interchangeable. but you can get them from http://www.airgun.com

hope this helps

Both on/off assemblies came out of 68Auto's though, I did buy them used so someone put an on/off out of an RT into the Auto right? Would that work? Thanks.

no they are made for their specific valves. if you are going to use a classic valve then you should the classic on/off
