Which nitro tank should I get?????? Plz help!

Ok, I am probably goin to finally get nitro for my Minimag. however, I am not sure which one to get. I already decided on preset 3000, cuz im on a budget. But I dont know which brand or size to get. Im either getin a 48 or a 68 ci. And I have no idea on wich brand.

So, could you guys help me decide on what to get?
Also, could someone tell me how many shots a stock minimag would get from a 48 ci 3000 psi and from a 68 ci 3000 psi???

ur gonna get about 900 shots with a 68 cu and around 650 with the 48. you said you are under a budget so keep in mind when you get your tank filled it cost the same to fill a 68 and a 48 so with the 68 you get 250 shots for free(compared to the 48cu)

as far as a tank I would get a nitro duck tuff skin they weigh as much as a normal fiber wrap but you only have to get them inspected every 5 years instead of 3. they run about 220 dollars so the are not cheap but they can take a beating

depends on what positition you play. If you play front you want the smallest setup possible. If you play back you usually use more shots per game and need a bigger tank. I think a 68ci 3000psi with a good dropforward is good front or back. If you want a tiny set up with a good amount of shots get a 45/48ci 4500psi twnk with a good dropforward.

you probably wont get 600 shots out of it. I would strongly recommend the 68/3000 Crossfire. They can be found for under $150. I just bought their 68/4500 for $185. Crossfire has the fastest recharging reg on the market and the price is incredible. I have mine on a Kapp DZII and it is perfectly balanced on my Emag. Don't waste your money on a more expensive tank unless you have a Retro valve. In that case it is worth it to have an adjustable tank, in which case I recommend the Flatline or an Air America Raptor.

I own a 68/3000 crossfire tank. I have never had any trouble with it, exept that i should have used a tank cover because now i'm probably going to fail hydro which is comming up :(.
They generally run around $150. I didn't know that the 4500 was only $185, or i would have gotten it (was that new or used price?). You have other less expensive options, you can get a 47/3000 aluminum tank for around $90, you won't get too many shots off these, and i'm not sure of the reg quality though.
Next step up from the crossfires would be an ajustable reg 3000, which you don't really need, unless you have a retro valve.

The $185 was for a new tank. That is a pretty good deal, but you will see them for under $220 just about anywhere, most often $200. The best deal going in paintball.

I strongly recomend the Crossfire steel 68ci 300psi tanks. Inexpensive, very sturdy (longer hydro dates), and not as heavy as you would think. I use one with my Retro and haven't had a single shoot-down problem.

I'm shooting 48 PMI Pure Energy tank w/no complaints. But it is a small tank, so I fill my own with a scuba fillstation. I can get maybe 500-600 shots out of a tank.

Since I only shoot about 700 shots a day, and since my field has all-day-air, Im prob gonna get a 48 3000!!!!
