well,
so I was unscrewing one of the barbs, I completely go through a marker I get used, I manged to twist off the top of the barb. apperantly it was set using some kind of locktite, in anycase I need a few suggestions on a good, smooth RELIABLE 3 way....

for real cheap, an STO 3 way is really nice
freeflow bullet is nice
shocktech bomb is really really short
belsales seems to be very highly acclaimed, although ive never used one.

The barbs are pretty soft brass, so you should try hammering a tiny screwdriver into it and twisting out the rest of the barb. It should work.

If not, get an orracle 3-way. I love mine.

good job, stos are awesome. They don't have the shortest throw, but you can time them reliably without lots of problems, my personal favorite.

works cocker?

That's made by CCM right?

Does it have all CCM front components?

If so, you might want to consider a CCM 3-way:

http://www.chipleymachine.com/ac.htm#3way

http://www.chipleymachine.com/images/3way.jpg

"One of the shortest throw three ways on the market, this will help to achieve the lightest and shortest pull ever. Coupled with the J2 trigger frame, and you will be amazed. Just like everything that we make, guaranteed for life.

$30.00"

I know Jason (Chipley) designed the front pneumatics a little different than normal. I don't know how well it would work if you mixed and matched components? I'm sure the 3-way shouldn't make a difference, but for the spring ratios that CCM uses, I know they're ram is a bit larger and more "tuned" for optimal operation for their light springs.

Give Jason an email Jason@chipleymachine.com

or call at (530) 365-7230

They're really cool and will take the time to explain their stuff to you.

Good luck either way:)

Well if the Works 4-way is made by CCM shouldn't it have the lifetime warrantee like the description J&C posted up? Try calling them and see whats what.

its an older works/ccm. infact the 3way doesnt even look like that one. Besides for 30 bucks Plus shipping you can get some of the other aftermarket 3 ways. I plan on sending them an email but I really dont see how this would be covered under thier warrenty...
