noone on AIR knows what it is, nor do i. so im resorting to AO... cuz i know there's some old fogies that will probably know this gun ;)

Pics didn't make it through. It's a mechanical 'Cocker clone Dragun...Army

story behind it: friend was gonna buy a brand new omen for 250$ off of a guy that won it in a tournament and had no use for it. agreed to toss in a electric hopper and a mask too.

friend gets package, turns out to be this... thing...
luckily he used paypal, so he revoked payment and filed a claim against that asshat.

i hope he gets hit by a rampaging moose.

I used to have a little respect for AIR.

You'd think the pic on the case would at least give a hint.

fockers aren't as good as cockers
and i have yet to be proven wrong at my statement

but if you think about it, there's sooo much stuff that you can upgrade on it, that its basically a cocker with a dragunfly body... aye karumba!

Works, CCM, Splat Attack, Racegun... all are made from non WGP bodies, and all perform amazingly well.

focker / cocker is just a poor attempt by WGP to try and spread misinformation. I have shot many wgp cockers, and a fair share of the "fockers" and there is no performance difference. And in the case of the CCM "fockers" I have found them to be superior to the WGP product in quality, and a better value to boot.

but this dragunfly.... I wont pass judgement until I shoot one, but my first impressions arn't looking very positive.

umm...we at AIR do know about these dragunflies, actually its olllldddd news. Dragunfly cocker doesn't even take cocker threaded barrels(they used spyder threads) or any standard cocker parts.

as for fockers not been better than cockers...I guess you never heard of Merlins or Jackal RDLs?

If I recall right, and since I have no idea why I would care about dragunfly, except I read it while looking at something useful the newer ones take some cocker parts.

yah, for years WGP bodies have had very WIDE tolerance swings.

Given, there are a few places making bodies that are pretty crummy, but AKA, FF, Chipley, all make great bodies, AKA and chipley specifically make them to very specific tolerances. In fact, one of the selling points of AKA VLM bodies over WGP before the merlin was the bore would be consistant batch to batch! You knew what you were getting.
Others make good bodies as well. The idea of a "genuine" WGP body, which in itself began as a CLONE OF A PGP is kind of silly.

 Well, I HAVE shot one, and can say its not the best... however, its only around 200 dollars, and for the price you get A LOT!

Also, your friend coulda bought a NEW dragunfly for less... good thing you got your money back.
