I carry 5 pods and one hopper. That usually is enough to let me do what ever I feel is necessary...

That is for REC or tourney.

What is a pod? Oh, yeah, that overgrown tube used for spilling paint all over the ground.;)

10 round tubes all the way!

I use 3-5 depending on the field and where I am playing. At an indoor I was playing back and only shooting three pods a game and I was constantly shooting the entire time.

I have a Redz Dimension 4.3 pack, and I've carried as much as 11 pods out on the field (hopper stopped working and frame fried that game, so only shot the hopper.. I was looking forward to emptying my paintbox too). Usually for scenario games I will just fill the outer 4 pods and refill them as I need them. For final battle, I'll take as many as 7 out there just for fun. You can fit extra pods in the comfort belt (or water bottles). For Speedball, about the same.

2 for rec sometimes, 3 for rec or tourny, only 4 or more if i know i need to shoot paint.
i usually can tell how much paint i am gonna have to shoot to win, IE how good my team is, theirs, etc.

7 in the pack, 2 in my pocket, and I try to rig one up off the break so that it is already inside of my hopper, facing straight up. So I guess you could say 10.

Carry 4, usually use 1-2 in rec speedball.

I usually carry 2 and a hopper full. And I usually bring back most of them unless the game is long.

I've always like carrying 4 pods. I've never run out of paint on the field (playing mid-front), but I feel safer throwing paint when I have to, knowing that I have extra just in case.

Don't have a harness or pods, usually go in with half hopper, leave with 5-6 left.

I take 5-7pods. My position is mid/back but I like to know that I have the paint if needed. :p

3 and a hopper..

The closest i've ever come to using them all is when to of them spilt when taking them out of my pack.. I ran out of paint at the end of that game..

I own 2 Lasoya Timmies each with Halo "Backman" TSA (220 rd) hoppers & Crossfire 91/45 hpa tanks.
I sometimes like to carry both at tha same time ( with debounce set to one) and shoot two-handed, but only against 'noobs in rec-ball.
:o
I modified a Redz comfort pack to carry 11 tubes each in the front & rear & when I'm feelin really frisky I'll add a two-pod pouch to each hip.
:(
Aside from all the rattling it really is an effective setup as I can lay SO much paint I really dont even have to aim.
:)
The only problem I've run into is how to load two guns at the same time (I'm usually reloading at least one every 10-15 seconds). Since I have more money than I know what to do with, I'm thinking of buying a few extra hoppers & just ditching the pods alltogether. I could rig a harness to carry like eight Halos & I'll just toss 'em away when they're empty.
I play front.

I carry four pods and a hopper (~800 rds) in the tourneys around here. It allows me to shoot and move the entire game. The games are about 3 - 5 min. I will be almost out of paint at the end of 5 min.

I carry 4 150rnd pods in tournaments or rec play. Scenario play, I usually carry those 600 round plus about 600 more = 1200 rounds, which is about what my mag can shoot before I am pretty well out of air.

I switched from a 68 to a 92 tank this year, so I should never really have any air problems.

might pick up a 45/4500 for indoor play though

I carry 4 150 round pods as a front man, but I will rarely shoot more than a hopper and maybe a pod in a game. (My backmen make sure I'm sent to my death long before that) The other 3 pods are for when the crap hits the fan and I am forced to start crossing up.

well I had been carrying 5 140s + hopper/warp full,

got a bigger tank, got a bigger pack 5+4 with 5 140s(still waiting on the last 4-5 140s to come in, but for now I stuck some 100s just because...

Hopper off the break, go from there, I rarely go all out in pratice and rec and drop em all(because well, untill we pick up a paint sponsor that really loves us, I cant afford too ;)) Tourneys Ive droped my 5 and 2 of my fronts, and a hopper, that was 3 man... Makes a back guy relise why he keeps his front guys around ;)

2, though im currently looking for a good 2pod pack. Redz seem to be the best bet. As far as pods, I have been using the VL ones forever (100 round) I want to upgrade to some 140rnd pds. Anyone rec. a name? The JT quickpods or whatever look alrighty.

JT pods suck

i'd suggest some PMI/Evil pods

they come in colors, the plastic is basically indestructible, and the lid has a nice tight snap to it, so you'll feel safer about paint not dumping out when you pull it out of your harness... unlike the DYE ones which open at the slightest hand gesture :o

i carry on 4 pods and a hopper into a tourney game, but normally use a hopper and 2 pods. (front) and for rec ball, i only use a hopper.

Don't play tourney ball anymore, just rec and scenario.
4 pods and what's in my Eggo will do me for quit a while. I subscribe to the "Accuracy through accuracy" chain of thinking.

4+ the hoper but the better I get at playing back the more paint I seem to go through. I think I need to start using those evil little elastic jammers between the real slots on the pack. I used the warp feed for the first time today and other than the little annoying issues all new toys create I noticed that I can burn through paint faster. Zoom, zoom, zoom, there goes my money, flying across the field.....
