Welcome to AO!
You want to make your mag Snazzy, eh?
Snazzy like this:

That was mine last year... built it from a stock minimag.
Here's how I went about it:
1. Nitro tank. This is almost a must-have
2. Intelliframe. You dont have to get the I-frame, but you need an aftermarket frame. Preferably an AGD I-frame, Yframe, or a Logic vert-frame.
3. Level 10. No Chops! (yay)
4. Omega Rail. Doubt you'll find many of these, but you can get a rogue rail instead (Rogue lists all his products in the dealers forum...)
5. ULE body. These are neat. half the weight, and they come in colors!
6. X-valve. Shoots real fast. and its lighter...

Recommended upgrades:
SS No-Rise Body (should be on sale soon)
Level 10
Intelliblade
AGD Bikegrip
Keep the Classic Valve for now - should do you fine.
