Hey folks, I have run across my old Micro-CA the other day and was trying to find some info out about. I've noticed that all the pics I can find are of Micro-CA II's, even on AGD's museum page they use a pic of the II. What was the difference between these? It seems most of the II's have serial numbers on them. My old Micro-CA doesn't have any serial number at all. Was this just a first run at making these? I can post a pic if needed of it.

Thanks,

Bill

Yep, first run and very rare. I think we only made 500 of them. It was the II that we made thousands of.

Thanks for the quick reply! I guess I can add that to my old MiniMag #670 as some of the first run parts from AGD.

Was there much difference physically between the two or was it just tweaking out the bugs?

Thanks,

Bill

I might consider it. I haven't gassed it up in 10 years so I don't know if the seals are still ok. It did work last time I used it. The only cosmetic flaw is some rust on the changing arm and some scratches where the CO2 cartidge is inserted. The foam pad on the end is still intact with the warning sticker and the printing on the side is still in good shape. I'm not sure what it's worth now that I know it was one of the first 500 made. I've seen the II's go for around $80 to $100 some on Ebay. I'm looking at getting the new Rt Pro Custom so this might help me afford it quicker.

Pardon my ignorance, but what on earth is a Micro CA? Micro Constant air?

It's a lever activated 12gm quickchanger. the micro-ca II also had a backcheck valve in it so the gun would stay gassed up between cartriage insertions.
