BLUE'S CREW SIGNS WITH HAMMERHEAD BARRELS
BLUE'S CREW is very pleased to announce the signing of their newest supporter - HAMMERHEAD PRODUCTS LLC. This announcement is surprising in the fact it is a non-standard for the paintball industry by being a 2 year agreement, unlike the normal here today - gone tomorrow sponsorship scene in the industry. Hammerhead will be supplying the BLUE'S CREW with their revolutionary HAMMERHEAD barrels and MINI-FIN breech sizing system and special BLUE'S CREW HAMMERHEAD Clothing for the 2004 and 2005 season. These barrels feature a new process of true rifling and reverse porting first developed and tested by the U.S. military and law enforcement where accuracy, consistency and barrel breaks are not acceptable. The system first debuted at the 2002 World Cup and they were used with great success in the 2003 season including 2 - first place finishing teams in the 2003 World Cup.
BLUE'S CREW ( www.emrpaintball.com/blues-crew.html ) has very quickly made an impact on the east coast big game / scenario paintball scene. Organized and managed by Michael "BLUE" Hanse, owner of EMR PAINTBALL PARK and BLUE'S CREW, it's roster of 30 players which include members from over 15 teams, 8 states, and 3 countries, is like no other team currently in the sport. Rather than the emphasis being on points or winning, this groups motto is to "Flirt, Pillage, & Plunder " on the field and to be aggressive paintball warriors yet good emissaries to the sport on and off the field. BLUE had this to say concerning the support from HAMMERHEAD – “ I am very happy to add HAMMERHEAD to our growing EMR FAMILY. I checked out both their Company and their barrels out at World Cup and was very impressed with the professionalism of their people and the quality of their barrels. After testing them at the MXS Throwdown, I was convinced this was the barrel for my CREW."

We met BLUE at the World Cup and watched BLUE'S CREW in action at the MXS Texas Throwdown. At “Throwdown”, they took several Hammerhead barrels out to test, and the next thing we knew, Bob Lanstrum and their most experienced players were running accuracy tests against our competitors barrels. We were very pleased when we heard “This barrel really does shoot awesome!” BLUE'S CREW and EMR are extremely organized, have tons of experience, and know what shoots well. It is not everyday you get to work with players that not only love the sport of paintball and simultaneously work hard to promote the game in a healthy unselfish manner. The anodizing is a custom black to blue fade just for the Crew to match their distinctive markers with stainless steel Mini-Fin boresizers. The laser engraving will feature both the BLUE'S CREW name and the HAMMERHEAD logo.
