I have a Scepter now, but have an opportunity to get an AMAZING deal on a Longbow. Should I go for it? Or will I not find much of a difference. I find that my Scepter is not that good at all with barrel breaks, so if the Longbow is, I might go with that. Please give me some input. Thanks.

edit - from a lower post I made, in case you don't want to read the whole thread, but want to add something.

Found something out that complicates things. I would get the 3 titanium backs + one front. They would presumably be the .684, .687, and .690 backs (the other two aren't for sale on the website). However, the Scepter has a bigger selection of bores going +.002 from .684 to .692 So I don't know if I want to go down in the number of possible bore selections. Or does the natural variation of paint negate this?

I have no experience with either barrel.

I'd like to reccommend a Kaner. Kaner kits don't have the best accuracy at range, but they perform quite well after a break.

One word of caution though - using a WGP product (like the Kaner) on a Mag will make the elves very unhappy...and they will likely smite you for it :D

I'd say jump on it, you will not regret it.

Those are the nicest made, and best shooting barrels I have ever had the pleasure of shooting.

You should get a 34' inch barrel cause it will make your gun shoot farther and straighter.

I have to agree with this... I've replaced all my barrels with my scepters...

I even use them on my classic mag, with one of Doc's adapters.

I don't know what kind of Scepter you guys are shooting, but mine sucks when you break a ball. 10 shots and say 2 squeegee throughs later, its still curving like crazy.

longbow is amazing. a kid at my local field owns one, if a ball breaks in one, 2 shots and its cleared. its rock solid, i would die for one. deffinitally get the longbow

Read above for a complication.
