Try to grab an 03' vert feed right now. The prices have been fluctuating as of late because of the new 04s and you could get a very good deal. I saw VFs going for $260 at paintballgateway.com, but they seem to be back up at the $300 level now.

Yep, just a stock vert feed cocker would be perfect just for tinkering around.

Chipley Series 5, best value on the market IMO, no upgrades needed at all.. inline and lpr are both externally adjustable. hinge trigger is great, and has a clamping vert feed.

$440 from bunkerboyz, and they rock!

or drop $750 for new 04/J2... i just ordered mine yesterday :) the trigger frames are flat out revolutionary

I don't really know too much about cockers, but i would assume the only difference is in the style of trigger. Please correct me if I am wrong.

id try and pick up an 03 stock. thats if you only want it to tinker with. thing is tho, once you get one set up right, you dont have to tinker with it any more. And then all you want to do is play with it.

In a hinge frame, the trigger pivots around a pivot point, like the hinge on a door and the majority of the triggers on other guns. The other trigger option for a Cocker is the slider frame. The trigger slides back and forth instead of pivoting.
