Well looks like the gov't dropped the Comanche copter. Wish I could of seen it at least once in person and I'm interested in it's performance. (SORRY IF THIS IS A REPOST, I seem to be good at repeating)

EDIT: Forgot to post link.

"Ok, boys, build me this super chopper!"

Years later:

"Sir, it's done!"

"Too bad it's already obsolete... here, do this and this and this..."

"OK!"

Well, i think it was a pretty sweet helicopter, but... darn it! there's nobody left who can fight a "conventional" war anymore!

the cold war days were so cool... so many high tech toys...

i mean come on, how cool is a helicopter that is almost stealth, can do barrel rolls, and fly straight up??? not to mention blast the crap out of stuff?

sigh...

Witness the great efficiancy of Boeing and UT.

20 years. $6.9 billion bucks. 1300 people working on it. All that time, money and manpower and they made two, and the program was on schedule? Pathetic.
