I've been thinking about creating a scenario marker out of a tac one, but I was wondering if anyone does/plans to make a collapsible stock for mags? I think a Tac-One would be awesome with following:

Collapsle Stock
Remote
Red Dot Scope
Red Dot Laser
mounted mag lite
single trigger
front magazine (dealers make a custom grip???)

I think he means a CAR-15/M4 style stock. The kind that would come straight off the back of the valve. It would have to be an easily removable item in order to facilitate chronographing.
I could see someone with some technical/machining ability using the top rail and maybe an extended valve screw to hold something like that on. Other than that, the "folding" stock in the above link would be the only other way I think.

Hey:

I kind of have an idea. If you could use the back two holes for a back bottle adapter. Use those to for your stock and have a hinge that goes on it. And then one screw on top of the body. You could cover up the valve and at chrono release one screw stock in on its hinge hanging from back bottle and you can chrono. Lift it back up drop screw in. Ready to go again. You could do an M16 style stock I would say that way.

Maybe it will work,

I think using the holes for the back bottle adaptor is exactly the way to go.

If no one makes a stock that screws directly onto the rail using those hole, here's another idea. I've seen Mags that had a gas-through T stock screwed into a back bottle adaptor but also had a bottom line for the tank. It looked like a nice set-up.

Yes, I'm thinking more of a m16 type stock. One similar to this http://shop.vendio.com/billyba98611/item/645941850/index.html?s=1077793508

You mean sorta like this?

Just like that. :)

I've also seen them where the tank is on the grip and under the stock. But the remote is cool as well.

Nice set-up by the way!

Jaasper: Very nice set up! That is very much along the lines I was thinking for my scenario 'mag. Well done! :D

Here is a weird but possible idea.
Have a Car15 stock that has the Allen head out the back. Adjust the velocity first. Then have the Car15 stock with the allen head push into the Velocity adjustment hole, then have a Screw on piece, screw onto the threads for the Velocity adjuster and tighten to the gun. That way it stays secured to your gun and won't mess with the velocity.
Since the Allen head has six sides to it, it wouldn't be hard to adjust it so the stock is perfectly alined.

is there a drawling avaiable of the back view of a tac-one? on the side with the air fitting it looks like there is a slot for clearance, is this correct. if somebody could post pictures of the back and sides that would help.

Well it depends on whether you warp your mag or not. I found the gas-thru stock with a set of Harris bipods along with a warp is bench-stable with the stock mounted to the underside of your trig frame.

Good luck with your Tac-one.

Yeah I can set mine up with the tank on the bottom too. An 88 fits just right, under the stock. I actually plan on mounting a qloader under the front to make the whole thing nice and compact.

Here are the pics requested.

just wanted to bump this thread and ask where the pictures are.. I just returned from over seas and woodball/military wasn't in fashion when I picked up my automagRT way back in the day. I always wanted to get a M4 stock for it but leave the bottle dropped forward off of the grip. Now I see that there are many suppliers out that, but I don't see much for an RT unless I am looking in the wrong place. Between that and the new bolt that is supposed to stop my gun from turning into a paint blender I would be very happy.

Thanks in advance.

If you have an accessory point on the back of your rail you could probably use almost any aftermarket stock, like for example the JCS Folding stocks. I know you can do it on the recon rail. I've played around with it since I have a jcs folding stock. I just gotta remind myself to get some screws and bolts at home depot.

or there's always the Spec-Ops stock:

I just picked up a used A5 car stock here on AO from PWpaintball, I have drawen up a adapter to mount it on my mini mag. Today the material showed up for it and I hope to chuck it up in the lathe tomorrow or thursday afternoon. I should have pic's of the finished product mounted on my mini mag this weekend. I will post them here for you to see.

I really want to see a MP5 style stock. It could be fairly simple to do with the RT-pro rails that have mounting holes.

:D

There's an old thread of mine from a couple of years ago showing how to mod a JCS Signature Series folding stock to fit the rear holes on the stock classic rail. I'm not sure if the pictures are there...I have the pictures on my old computer and I'll be at work until next week so I can't show them to you. Anyway here is a close up picture of the mount after it's been modded. A couple of hours with a Dremel is all it took...

You'll only need the 2 stock screws (no bolts), but they have to be the ones with the flatter head to fit under the valve.
