Iv'e got a Z-grip on my classic RT and i love it, but its all personal preference. Some people just plain hate the feel of them butit would be a good idea to try one out before buying one. They work well in tight area's, iv'e only tested out the Y-Frame and it wasnt too bad just not as curved forward.

Everyone who sees me play is amazed at how tight i can play with my z-gripped mag, and still be able to shoot as fast as I do. I have a z-gripped, X-valved, ULE mag with a 10" pipe barrel and a 72/4500 Stubby tank, and my whole gun is just under 23" long from barrel to back of tank.

So many people have asked to shoot my gun its gets rediculous. And this is in Southern Cali, cocker capital of the world.

the Z is great for getting up tight into a bunker, but this only works if you have a short barrel....=), if you can get your hands on one get it, since they are out of production...if you can get a chance to play with one you might like it. i never thought i would, looks just too darn strange, but then i got to try it once and that was it, put a long drop foward and a 10 inch barrel and it was tight....

I have a y-grip on my Mag, I think it's great. Before I had a Dye 45 frame, and at the end of of the day, my thumb area would be numb from having my wrist bent at an odd angle all day. Haven't had that problem since I put on my Y', plus I love the blade trigger.

everyone says the Z grip you should try first, but ive never heard of a negative response on it before. does it make you shoot faster in any ways? any imput would be great, im thinking about getting one.

Get a y-grip, Just GET IT! If you would actually pose w/o a gun you'll see your wrists like to tilt in the direction of the Y, If will feel so confy you'll fall asleep while giveing off long strings of shots.

Yeah, but I think a z grip is ugly... y grip looks pretty cool. But if you run into a z grip, wow man get it.

You can play quite tight, though if you have a tank mounted on the gun there's a limit on how far you can tuck in with both the y and z grip, and both limits are pretty close to each other.

Now if you run remote and get a small stock on the z grip...
