I called AGD tech support to get an RA# for this. They said they have no access to parts for these. At the AO Cal meet you said you'd be able to help me out. Should I send this in? What kind of ETA am I looking at? (ballpark, I won't hold you to it)Thanks.

Also, I know of at least one other guy with this problem.

Nope, pretty expensive to go that rout, so I'd like to keep this domestic if possible, but if that's my only option...

Damn Russ...I forgot how bad yours was. After I got mine back into place, it wasn't noticable. I hope they can get it taken care of for you.

I was fitting a new halo to it, and the set screws didn't hold the neck in place. It slid around with the Halo and the set screws gouged the anno off and dug into the aluminum.

Martin, so your feed neck doesn't move at all now?

Russ,
So far so good. I tightened the set screws as tight as I could get them after I set it back in the proper position. I'll let you know next week since that is the next time I plan on playing.

I don't know about that Martin, he has a lot more bare metal showing than you probably had.

I have the exact same thing on my feedneck. My neck also had a run in with a HALO.

lol, this makes me want to laugh, and cry. I figure now I'll just use a stick feeder from my stock days, just cram that in the top and I'm ready to go.

Times like this make me glad to have a ULE Emag instead of a Xmag. Tough break big guy. Hope it gets fixed.

That is press fit and set screwed twice. Are you sure you didn't over do it a tad? Since its black we might be able to help you. Call later this week and have Jon talk to me.

Maybe just a little...:o Thanks, I'll talk to him tomorrow.

That's the problem with these type of feednecks, you never really know until it too late, and by then your hopper is either too loose or too tight.

Well, nbow that they are discontinued, we'll probably never see this realized, but...

I would like to reiterate the fact that I would buy a clamping feedneck for the X/SFL Mag...

you can convert the breeches to accept feednecks. It has been done. I bet Doc would hook you up pretty well, and its not a very hard process ;)

and you have a great excuse to do it too!! :D

Duct tape is like the Force. It has a light side and a dark side. And it binds the universe together.
