How far down can you run a compressed air tanks psi before you start to get drop off?

my guess would be that you can shoot the tank down to the reccoomended input pressure of the marker in question..

obviously.

if your gun reccomends at least 400 and you only have 300, where will the extra 100 come from?

Ok rkjunior. Not everyone that plays paintball is a gun expert. Thats how you learn, by asking questions.

Thanks slushee for the response would you or anyone know what an adrenaline angel's recomended psi?

Depends on the type of Angel, what volumizers you have, etc.

I dont know what volumizers i have fallNangel. I know i sound like a noob, but I have actually been playing paintball on and off for 10 years. Started with a splatmaster if you can beleive that. Moved to a Kingman Hammer-A pump. Then a VM-68. Then a Mini-mag. Now an Adrenaline Angel. But im not good with the technical stuff. Just know how to play good.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, just stating that some Angels run sub 200psi, some take 400+. Just depends on the model and accessories ;)

I havent changed anything on the gun myself. The store told me it was an adrenaline angel and said that the factory changes some stuff on it themselves. Dont know if its true but it was Anodized allready.

Nah, you were fine. As previously said though, your marker will start having problems when the tank pressure gets close to the operating pressure of the marker. Personally, when I get near 1k psi, I fill up even though I could go down to 300-500ish.

I carry three pods one me during recball, that plus my hopper. I use 68/45 tanks, when I come off the field because Im low on paint I refill - in tournaments I refill after every game Why wouldn't you? Unless of course you are a place that charges for air fills, LOL then I just take my 91/45 tank.

I usually play at a place that charges $10 all day air. The problem is the line is so freakin long you usually miss a game fillin up.

1 thing to keep in mind tho is that most these guages you buy are off by a couple 100 lbs most the time. In the TAG tent we had a LCD we had the Predator board in ripping and the guage said 0 for awhile before we got drop off. So its kind of hard to tell other then when it reads close to recommended input.

Sounds like this wasnt as easy a question as I thot.
