Is the warp feed good for the mag?? like does it make ur marker harder to run around with or make it heavier/?

YES

:D

I love my warp. It does add some weight, and it can be awkward to handle(run, shoot out of off side bunker) but the awkwardness goes away, and it becomes just part of the marker.

I would say it is a very good upgrade. you will be able to shoot over the top of bunkers and not be seen. the ROF is very good, even when paired with a revy.

it is a little hard to run and shoot with at first, but you get used to it. after a while you will find it harder to run and shoot with a normal hopper-on-top gun.

i would go with a Qloader over the warp. i like the design better then the warp. alot more compact, feeds faster(about 30+bps- not like you can legally shoot that fsat anyway) but the only downside is that it only holds 150 balls i think?

How else can you shoot like this and stay covered? I asked Cryer about it (I was shooting at him), and he'll tell you that I was hard to see and he didn't realize I was shooting at him... nobody shoots from that angle. I have no issues with my warp, I forget it's there. It's WAY easier to play the snake with a warp.

The QLoader is a neat idea, but impractical. You cannot carry as much paint in the same amount of space. They are large for how much paint they hold. You're going to lose them. Do you really want to throw one across the field, like a regular pod? You can't shoot while reloading. You cannot top off. You are going to end up reloading A LOT, way more than a normal hopper. You will end up reloading before you use all the balls... and won't even use the pods to their max capacity.

i don't think this system is worth it. $140 for 5 pods with springs in them seems way too much when you can just buy a warp for $50-$60 used and $80 brand new!

Heres my Deal....When you are playing other teams that are not used to Mags with Warp...They see your mask and just think your looking out the bunker they dont realize you are also slinging paint at their face. It has saved my butt several times. And with the right Warp Body you can see right down the body and aim quicker and more efficiently. You can also shoot your gun at an angle or even upside down. What else can do that?

the q-loader...

but as miscue said they don't had as much paint and you can't use the pods to their limits.

Literally, he was shooting from ground level up at me. Caught me totally off gaurd.

I've always been anti-warp because its like another 20 lbs and sticks way the heck off the side of my gun, but after TexBall, I'm trying to get use to holding my mag with a warp. I'm going to force myself to become comfortable with it. Its that much of an advantage.

So did you ever have to reload while in that position?

My thoughts on the Q-Loader FUD are here (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=98649&highlight=qloader).

Note that the 5-pod kit's only $140 now.

But, the user asked about a warp, so I'll just give my 2 cents... I don't have one, but from observation, it seems that people who play with warps are not as mobile as people with normal hopper setups. Yes, I know, about 50 people are going to pop out of the woodwork and say, "I saw so and so do XYZ with a warp!" Yep, I've seen it too. But not enough to change my opinion.

And I guess I can't complete the argument without quickly dipping into Texball pics myself.

Warp in action!

I like to call this one "Hey uhm... you missed the snake. Grab Edweird's squeegee on your way out."

Out of curiousity, did you actually make it to the snake in that one, or were you eliminated before (or just after) the shot?

YES, i like going out to the field and being one of the few individuals that have a warp. Up until a friend got his, I was the one in the spot light everyone would ask about it and comment on it. They also would gimme a look and check what gun it is, no idea it was a minimag with normal valve, everyone thinks its RT or X, so yea its alot of fun confusing and baffling people, plus the only time people see my gun is off field, cause i keep it so close to me that its never seen by other team.

oh and i love the fact that when i poke my head to take a shot, other team thinks im lookin like, someone else said, they dont expect paint flying at them

If you notice, my hopper is full. I could have probably loaded it fine, but I was not planning on staying in that position too long.

Bah. Use one for a while. Also, I think a lot of people complain about the warp because they mount it like one foot left of their marker... instead of doing it really tight. In that case, it does suck to have it there! My warp is setup about as tight as possible, if you noticed... I have no issues with it at all.

Yeah, I was crawling into the snake... my guess is I didn't think I had time to make it all the way, so I slid early and crawled the rest of the way.
