View Full Version : How Rare is this body?

I bought this a long time ago, and I was just wondering how many people have seen this micromag body in their travels? It has a 4" fixed barrel and I've swapped out the internals of my other micromag to use this, which proves to be pretty fun due to its size. Again, just wondering how many of these were or are around :D

At the time I think I paid $75. Bought it off a friend in 93 if memory serves me right. He came across it at an expo in Pennsylvania.

Those pop up on ebay every once in a while. I know I've seen them there before.

I've got one of the fixed barrel Micro-Mag bodies. They're nice and short. The only problem with mine is the screws that hold the ball detent on have stripped out the holes in the body (the holes were already weak, then someone I lent it to banged the detent against a rock, pulling the screws completely out of the body). Helicoils won't work, as there is very little material to hold them (so a warning, don't overtighten the screws).

dude u should make that into a hella nice setup...im not sure if all the parts made today will fit but if they do that could be fatty...

Cryer

I'm sure that most would... (aside from a barrel...lol)

Get an X-valve, UltraLight Trigger, and an all flat black intelliframe from RogueFactor in the dealers form...

Unless there is something special about it, its not worth much. I see green fixed barrel micromag bodies selling for like 60-100 bucks...

One of these days I'm going to track down one of those and warp it with a Penut tank. It's gonna be tiny...

i agree cryer...thats why i asked if parts would fit cuz i would throw on a matte black intelli, RT pro foregrip, shocktech mini drop w on/off, X valve, and have a fatty setup

EDIT: theres no room for a foregrip...ERRR

Neat little gun eh? I have on myself in Gold , Navy and black sponge anno... I love the thing to death though I hardly play with it as It suffers largely from the " Any tank with any hopper will make me unwieldy and cumbersome " syndrom...

Not the fate of mine.. its a cute gun but I have to many mags

Im obsessed with that gun. I dont think it would look half as good with a foregrip either so....
Im definently going to buy me one of those sooner or later. May take a while to find one, but it'd be worth it.

I just bought one a few months back from paintmagnet for $100

Before I sold it to Frymarker I was planning to put on a Zgrip, warpfeed and 45 ci. tank, but funds ran out :(

Cryer- I hold on to the drop foward (on my current mag, which is also foregripless)

azza
03-07-2004, 07:25 PM
hey man, that looks mint.
If you've still got your classic valve, get yourself a 4oz co2 tank, a 45 or 100round hopper and put ya ASA on backwards. Thats the smallest setup that I can think of, if your wanting it as small as poss. And if you have an x valve,,, well completely dissregard(sp?) that.

Cheers
Azza

I guess I'd be SOL:o

Dude, you know what Iwas thinking today? Put an EMAG frame and battery pack on there! It would still be pretty tiny, plus it would RIP!

I WANT ONE!

That could be absolutely awesome if done properly. Is anyone looking to sell one (any color, doesn't matter)? PM me if there's any chance you'll give one up to a good home where it will get used frequently.

The real question I have for owners of that micromag body is, what's the accuracy like? On a 4 inch fixed barrel, is it excessively loud? And is it still decently accurate, or is it really horrible? And what's the weight of it?

my cuz had one just like that but traded it for a Ford Mustang

The accuracy doesn't suffer much from what I have noticed playing indoor. I don't think I would use it playing outside in a wooded field. I don't think it would fair well longballin it.

It is a touch louder than my other micro, but I can fix that :D :D :D

PS - couldnt you have just emailed or PM'ed me instead of giving this dead thread another free up???

Why did Pro Team Products discountinue the Micromags? Was it because of sales or what? Never could understand why.
