I recently bought a used Emag and just found out that the charger is fried. I've already registered the gun, EM 01975 with AGD. Will AGD fix or replace my charger, or will I have to buy a new one for $80?

I had the same problem when I purchased a used emag. This is how I fixed it:
First, check the fuse in the end of the cord.
Then check the volts, using a multimeter, at the end of the cord. (When pluged in) It should show 12v.
Then connect the charger to the cord and check the volts. The charger should be putting out 16.8 to 18 volts.

My fuse was burnt out so I replaced it. Then everything was fine untill I checked the voltage on the charger. I didn't want to spend 80 bucks replacing it so I went further and took the charger apart. Upon close inspection I found out that the 1ohm resistor was burnt out as well. I found an electronics repair store that had the resistor and was able to get the charger fixed. Cost: Less than two dollars.
