Timmy, also take that hopper cover off, refs would eat me if I had one of those one on my hopper here.

why cant you have a hopper cover?

yeahthatsme
03-06-2004, 11:41 PM
cus it makes it tons easier for paintballs to bounce off of the hopper then to hit and break, which isnt allowed.

tony3
03-06-2004, 11:49 PM
Also, get hit on the hopper, rip it off, stick it in your pocket

acropilot19

If you look closely I actually have 2 hopper covers on my Revvy
-Big 'ol "Paintball Trampoline"-

...cause I believe in tha "Bounce"

No way Dude- if any of you have seen the preview for the upcomming disney movie "The Incredibles", where that dude has to go thru all sorts of contortions to get his belt on, thats me with one 'o the covers. By the time I get that sucker on I'm usually hangin upside-down from the roof with one leg wrapped behind my head.

It aint commin off without Explosives.
:(
...and it just now occurred to me that the batteries are under that cover to...
Shucks.

Get Rid of?
:(
No. My problem is which one to USE.
The only solution I see so far is just to use 'em both- if you remember "Mouse" in the original "Matrix", right before he buys it. Thats the Image I'm going for.

:p
The problem then becomes HOW to reload with both hands full & WHO to bankroll the Prodigious amount of paint I'll surely be wastin.

Hey Deadeye-
Itsa Storm Timmie with WAS 2.7, Supafly bolt & adjustable ram cap.
I picked it up on Ebay for $800. Thats about the going rate.
Played with it the first time last weekend and, HOLYYASMINEBLEETHBATMAN! Its Fast. It came set to Debounce 1 with the trigger spring removed and it was actually a little TOO Fast (plus I was only playn rec-ball so there was really no need for such foolishness). Ended up bumping the debounce up to 5 after I shot myself in da foot whilst movin in to bunker sombody.
Trigger spring has also been reinstalled as well.
The only downside is it chops- something my Emag doesnt do.
:)

RenagadeOfFunk

RenagadeOfFunk
03-07-2004, 09:47 PM
...my speed will still be 5 bps faster than the e-mag or timmy :)....but thats just "hipe" right

Having now played with both I'd have to admit this is also true.
Both are DAMN Good markers.

timmy dawg. there is no comparison.

timmies are light, fast, have eyes, low pressure, pimptastic milling, small, pretty easy to work on, accurate as all getout and an all around better marker

After I upgraded my EMag to 3.2, and tweaked the trigger, my Captain tried it out, and offered to trade me his Timmy for my Emag on the spot.

I say stick with the Emag. ;)

or get two halos and a small boy to run with you and fill hoppers from your pots, and keep both guns!! Oh and the boy could carry a load of pots, and maybe work through the week to fund your paintball at the weekend, clean your house, etc.

Sorted!:p

Hmmmm....Im likein the basic idea but im thinkin maybe instead of a small boy it'd be a playboy bunnie or hooter's girl- Extreme Distraction factor with liquid refreshment close at hand(s)...

Gotta love the weird backup gun situations.. hehe

I took my minimag and my angel out to the local fielsd one time. I was tring out my Warp for the first time and when it didn't quite work i broke out the angel and the ref said "WTF?!?!?! YOU HAVE AN ANGEL AS A BACK UP FOR A MINIMAG!?!?!?"

Well, you Canucks are sorta backwards anyway.

Tho, I do appreciate you guys absorbing mosta the cold weather before it can make its way down here.
Plus, an added thankyou for Jim Carrey- I cant tell you how many times that dude has made me laugh so hard my Colostomy Bag dislodged & shot across the room.
Thats Good Stuff:)

If I remember correctly, I got them at a store called "Bed Bath & Beyond". Itsa superstore for all your kitchen, bed & bathroom needs. They're made from soft Teeshirt material- almost like flannel but not as thick. Very comfy. I've also seen this sheet set at "Mervyn's" & a few other places.

The timmmy hands down is faster then the emag and has a much better feel (no macro from valve to drop) and the battery pack well...isnt there. Also i would suggest...selling the emag picking up a halo and a 16 inch to 14 inch ultralight. They seem to just fit the timmy nicely since it is already a pretty long.

I have an Angel as backup for my E-Mag, and a Retro Mag as a backup for the Angel.

It's crazy.

Nice Timmy. Maybe another backup is in order?

Tho the thought did cross my mind, It was quickly followed by more graphic thoughts of my wife saute'ing my nads.
I'm thinkin $2000 worth of markers is about all I'm allowed.
The backup to the backup is gonna have to be a Large-bore straw.
