Well, I am setting the new hotnesses of modern tech down for a second and going for the old school rockness of '97. That's right folks, you heard it. Python14 is going to be the proud recievee of a Blue Splash '97 Vert feed Bob Long cocker. Oddly though, this is my fifth Bob long gun. Eitherway, it's hot. Completely original. I'm putting the original slider frame back on when it get's here. It should be real nice.

And don't worry, I'm gonna be buying a mag soon so this gal doesn't get lonely. AGD and WGP Mechanical Superforce of DOOM!

Well, fortunately I don't have to deal with that hideous frame. It's coming with the stock one that is match annoed. It's gonna be beautiful.

What did it run me? Well, lets put it this way. I'm trading my whole gun setup which is worth about $400 plus my invision for it. I just had to have it.

That seems older then 97, because in 96 they started cutting the back blocks and that isn't cut.

Hey:

1997 is Old School now. Hot darn I guess the guns I use are archaic. Oh well. I still have guns that are at least 10 years older. Oh well.

BTW- Sweet Gun.

Yes, I think it's older than 97 as well, though it seems to be in excellent condition. Didn't they start cutting down the sight rails in 97 as well? Does it have the fake pump arm groove on the other side of the body, and the hammer lug adjustment hole in the sight rail?

BTW, that gun is beautiful, but the Shocktech hinge is hideous!

Yea, I've always had a thing for the days of yor when cockers and mags were THE pinnacle of paintball markerdom and pros wore camo.

I dunno. I've shot them before and really, I wasn't impressed and I've always liked Shocktech stuff.

I don't think that started until after 99.

Alright, I e-mailed Vantrepes from Moodypaintball.com(great place) and he told me it was most definitely a 97. Bob Long continued to put the larger backblocks on his cockers(possibly for backwards compatability?). Bob Longs previous to '97 were sidefeed too. So I guess that clears it up for the most part.

Also, I am under the impression that only 2k+ had the vestigial pump arm channel....whereas '99 and down did not.

Thats one huge Bi@#&*h!

Its been a long time since Ive seen a body that old.

But Ive always kept an old centerfeed cocker slider in my gear back. Always dependable

Right, I knew that applied to stock Worr Games bodies, but I didn't know if the Bob Long body had any aftermarket mill work done to it. (such as the hammer lug adjusting hole or extra pump slot)

I want a slider frame for my CCM. The only problem is that the CCM hinge is so badass :)
