Go with the centerflag, at least that's what I'd do. I don't much care for the PMI tanks for some reason.

I don't know about the pmi, but I have a centerflag, and I'm very happy with it.

They have different regs on them.

My friend has a pmi 68/3000 preset. One day the burst disk blew at a measly 2500 psi. That shouldn't happen at that low of a pressure.

Everyone else likes the centerflag, so probably go with that. Hope that helps a little

we have used centerflags, xfire, pmi's, they re all good

except the pmi once had a leak from the nipple oring, which was the only issue we ever came across related to tanks

If I were you, I'd go with a Crossfire. Better regs, IMO.

another diffrence is:

the centerflag is preset at 750 psi output

The Pure Energy is preset at 800 psi output

Anyhow I happily paid the extra for my Flatline cause its an adjustable reg that I trust... and well I run my mags at 850 psi

thats what your foregrip reg and lpr are for.

You'll be fine with either of those on you cocker. I'd recomend a crossfire. They are usually cheaper than PMI's, not sure about centerflags though. They come in all sorts of sizes. I got a 68/45 crossfire and I like it.
This is just from experience though, I own both crossfire and a PMI. The PMI comes with a cheap guage and it broke pretty easily, (crossfires is pretty solid). thats the only problem I had with my PMI, other than a leaky fill nipple which can happen with any tank.

i have a pmi 88/4500.
after a couple uses, it leaked from the pin. sent it in and it was returned with no leak, but the out put pressure was non existent.

cheap gauge that broke, fill nipple piston broke. tasnk is less than two years old. but since all of this, it works fine now and i was given a free replacement nipple assembly and guage.

go centerflag. much better of the two options. i have a centerflag tank and reg and also a flatline-which would be the best option if you can.

My PMI Gauge broke after two days of playing. Go with Crossfire.
