Hey, maybe I should of put this in meet and greet but I'll put it here. Anyone know what kind of paint challenge Park uses? I don't want to buy it in bulk and bring it, I just want to know what kind it is for when I got to fox or badlandz. Whatever they use works so great in all my guns. I'm guessing its JT or BE paint.

All I have to go on is Shatnerball 1. They had 2 grades of waaaaayyy overpriced BE crap and Maxim for $90 a case. Hopefully things have improved.

I don't know what they used at shatner but in the summer and fall they used this greenish yellow stuff. It was great paint, blew all the rps paint I have tried out of the water, but no rps paint I have tried has worked good:-/

i played there quite a bit last summer and the summer before i went to college.

They used PMI premium (25 for 500 i think.) (72 for a case) (40 for 1000) if my memory serves me correct.

Then they used something else, maybe PMI's standard or some cheaper PMI that was 20 for 500 .. etc etc

hope that helped

dan

PS, i know for a while they just called it premium paint. it was gold with the CP tattooed on the shell.

When i was there in december they had this snot green paint that was very dimpled and really loved to break in guns (mine and all my friends). Wouldnt fly straight at all.

Actually the paint is not horrible, I mean the prices are, but generally the paint is very fresh, and thus does a decent job.

I was mostly refering to the BE paint. Im not stuck up i've tried it. My equation kit was handy but not handy enough as i cant change drastic bore sizes between shots

Personally, from my experiences fresh be paint works awesome. I have had nothing but great experiences with challenge park paint, which is probably be, can't say that with bigball or premiums, which are the same price if not more.
