i made a little list to decide on either a y-griped, uled, xvalve mag or keep my omen with PDP chip (25bps)... the main points are in bold

Omen

Pros-

Speed
looks... kinda
simplicity
cam feed
consistency

Cons-

kick/noise
reliability (i know pretty much everything about the omen and can fix any problem on the spot, its just if i need replacement parts then im screwed outta a day of play. Well i guess that can happen on a mag too if an oring blows...)

tuning (everytime you play you have to tune the recock and it gets a little annoyin if you want to just shoot 100 balls around your house even thought i can get it tuned in under a minute

Mag

Pros

looks?
lvl 10
small/light
reliability
consistency
simplicity
no recoil

cons-

speed (fastest mech, but cannot compete with a PDP chipped omen)

price (i will have to spend like an extra $150 from my omen to an rt ule custom)

anyone have an input? This is not a gun V gun thread because i shot and like both, im just wondering if any1 has any input...

i love my omen but ive had it since july and want to try something new... idk ahhhhhh :(

well, if you like the omen, and like the way it works, why dont you get a bushy or the like? or search around for a used rtule?

bushy is too much money and if im gonna stay electro im going to keep my omen... bah idk! My omen is so damn fast though.. i can outrun my bros ule emag with ease

i'd say keep the omen, you know all about it and stuff...and you could spend the 150 on upgrades or something...

i have nothing else i can get for it... a dude on PbN is making flushcocking but other than that i have nothing else i can get... the flushcocking supposidly reduces the recoil to that of a viking

hehe an evil omen...its a closed bolt electro blowback with adjustable recock (less kick than spyders) great reg., great stock barrel, and the anti chop system cam feed

competes with imps, and bushies mostly

Keep the Omen, man.

I love mine. Recock isn't that hard, and I'm working with Fear Factory to develop some new aftermarket products to spice this sucker up.

The Omen has a lighter stock trigger than an imp, and it's really simple to use.

^^^ just wanted to show off his gun :p (like he should, good looking mag)

I've owned and shot both mag and Omen. To tell you the truth I liked the Omen a lot, I picked it up cheap and could rip on it. The thing was that I just didn't need that trigger speed for my play. I went back to the mag and then to an E-mag simply because of the design. I think that that is what it comes down to. Which fits you functionally and aesthetically?
