Nope don't like Bon Jovi,never really liked that type of music.
And some of those hair bands out of the eighties are just strange.See example below.Oh yeah i'm from Florida.

i voted i like em, i wouldnt go out of my way to listen to then but i do own a couple of older cds, but if a song plays on the radio, i probally know the words

i like philly soul... and i hate bon jovi. Teeth are way too white... and he just looks doofy. some of his songs are ok, like the semi recent one where they over use the talk box on the guitar.... but well it just isnt my fortay

There should be a time factor here.Back in the 80's EVERYBODY like them thus the billions of records sold,top charting song titles and record breaking sold out concerts pretty much across the country.

So yeah,back then I liked them a fair amount,pretty good Pop rock and the concerts were ABSOLUTE Chick magnets.

(FYI,growing up on Long Island)

Now.....that's no longer my style but I still enjoy the occasional Jovi tune for old time sake.

thor i cant really vote in this poll. i know who he is so that strikes option 3. i have fond memories of the 80s (and of some of their music) so that strikes option 2. but he is not the end all be all of my life so that strikes option 1. lets face it, no matter how cool jon thinks he is, hes not the boss.

This much is prolly obvious, but I'll state it anyway.

I put this poll up here because in NJ, not only are you guaranteed to hear at least one Bon Jovi song when you go out to the bar (and just about every cover band does him still too) but every single person in the audience knows every single word and will sing it at the top of their lungs.

You go to other states, and you never hear any Bon Jovi, nor do people seem to care.

I think someone needs to pass a law that in order to live in NJ you must be a fan of either Bon Jovi or The Boss :)
