4.01

[Bolter]

took my X-mag in today for an adjustment on my centre feed, got it back and it had been flashed with 4.01 software.

Have no idea what all the functions were such as "db" and "mod" but this thing is totally insane. Im going to have a play with it, and try out different settings, and see what does what. First impressions are that its super quick, sort of like refined buffering. db = de-bounce? hmmm

Noticed also my bolt is now a rubber-ended one. I think it might be a test bolt, but I ran it all day on 26bps (not that I hit that speed the gun is set on that) and with the new software I didn't chop all day at crazy speeds!:D the bolt is like rubber and soft to touch usually where the metal part of your bolt starts.
So thats ACE, lvl10 , rubber bolt all stopping me chopping balls! Woop!!

Yes its one of storms test guns that we were using to resolve the FA problem
I give things to him for testing because he is one of those people that does not know one end of a powertube tip from a bottom line so if it works with him it will work for anybody.

The bolt he is refering to is a standard foamie lvl 10 bolt that had a blown foamie replaced he had been using the gun with no foamie for 2 months hence was not used to seeing a foamie on there as i said he would not know a foamie bolt from a reg seat only that they are both made from some sort of rubber.
